Questions for this shipment:

Question: I have an open trailer, who is doing the loading and unloading of these trees?will i need to include labor for this in bid? Dave/KingTransport- Jefferson,Ga. (11/14/2007)
Response: No the vendor will load and when you deliver all volunteers will unload them. (11/14/2007)
Question: Hi, I have a 52 ft. enclosed trailer with 2 roof vents. Would that work? Never hauled trees before. What is your target price? Thanks...Quicksilver (11/14/2007)
Response: I suppose it would, this is my first time doing this, We are selling christmas trees for a fundraiser they are preordered, Apperantley there are alot of these christmas tree farms in NC that do alot of fundraisers for church groups and such. She just told me to make sure it was a cooled trailer or at least vented in some way to keep it from getting hot. I dont know a target price that is one reason I am doing bids, I have never done this and we are looking for the most affordable delivery yet efficient and that does a good job! Since the trees are preordered we have to make sure they arrive in good condition or we may have a lot of bad looking trees, but its only 230 or so miles from the pick up point to us in GA. So I am thinking it wont be to bad. We were looking for them to picked up in the AM on 11/29 and delivered by 4pm same day. So if you can help we are willing to take a look at the bid. Thanks Allison (11/14/2007)
Response: Ok, Thanks for the responce. I guess we are both in the dark on this one. If I can find something from Fl. to there, I can pick those up for you. I will place a bid then. Thanks for your time...Quicksilver (11/14/2007)
Response: No problem, I have a week to decide so if you find something out between then and now keep me posted. Thanks (11/15/2007)
Question: Evening, I have a 24' gooseneck flat bed and can tarp the load. If this will work I'll place a bid. Thanks for your time.alleycat1912 (11/14/2007)
Response: Im sorry I thought I had responded but it looked like on my end I didnt, as far as I know the owner of the christmas tree farm said just make sure they dont get to hot, and are in either a vented or cooled trailer and they dont blow around as to damage the limbs and such. It seems your trailer would probally work though if you would like to make a bid. Thanks (11/16/2007)
Question: Hi,I haul lots of Christmas trees, can you load be earley than the 29th? Please advise, Thank you, (11/16/2007)
Response: I am sorry the earliest would be the 29th, because the are fresh trees we dont want them cut and sitting for to long before people can get them home and in water, we are doing it for a fundraiser and we only designated Dec. 1st for a pick up of the trees so we didnt want them sitting no more than 2 days max. But if you could do it, please feel free to make a bid. Thanks Allison (11/16/2007)
Question: Is this still available? (11/16/2007)
Response: Yes Its still available I havent gotten a bid yet, I have had several questions and still getting responses so waiting on some official bids. SO if your interested we will look at your bid. Thanks (11/16/2007)
Question: i might be able to help.. i would like to p/u and del. same day too.. i would have to have something on the floor of my trailer so it would protect it.. i will see what i can do and get back to you.. thanks (11/20/2007)
Response: Yes same day delivery would be great, I would prefer for the 30th but the 29th would be acceptable also. (of November) (11/20/2007)
Question: Hi, I live close to Jefferson and would love to give you a bid for hauling these trees. I will haul them on an open trailer 8x20 and will be there to pick them up exactly when the farm is ready to load and drive directly to the drop site to assure they won't delay and dry on the trailer. I think most trees are delivered on open trailers. If you will confirm that they will load on my trailer. Thank you, Glenn A-Class Solutions Inc. (11/20/2007)
Response: That will be fine, the tree farm will load the trees on the trailer. (11/20/2007)
Response: Thanks for responding, My schedule is flexible, if you prefer I pick up on 29th or 30th and deliver on 30th that will be fine with me. Thank you, Glenn (11/22/2007)
