Freight description: These are new palletized lead acid batteries. Currently we handle our interoffice transfers from Ft. Lauderdale to Bradenton and Ft. Lauderdale to Tampa or vice versa. Looking for someone to handle our bi monthly transfers until March. Primarily the load will be batteries and golf cars. From time to time pallets of golf car tires or miscellaneous palletized parts. The max load will always be under 45,000 lbs.
Additional Information: The load may need to be placarded corrosive. Our company has an exemption on our trucks not to placard our loads and I don't believe it carry's over to an outside carrier. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: can thay be loaded on open trailer (11/2/2009)
Response: yes...as long as they are secured. However, would prefer a closed trailer. (11/3/2009)
Question: Hi, Your listing is a little confusing. Is it just 12 standard size pallets? Because on the left of the screen it says something about 12 skids and 4 additional skids that are 8ft long etc etc. Please let me know if it is just the 12 standard size skids. Thanks. (11/3/2009)
Response: Basically we would be transferring 12 skids of batteries that are standard size but very heavy. We would fill the remainder of the truck with golf cars that have a footprint of 4x8. I would need the entire truck space for the transfer. The load configuration would change monthly but it would be a full load with a max weight of 45,000 lbs. (11/3/2009)
