Questions for this shipment:

Question: Do these animals require special papers for transport or special notification to law enforcement or department of Agriculture, state or federal? Do they cause damage to trailer equipment or present any other special problems that one should know about? I am interested and have discussed hauling elk but have always passed because of the unknown. thanks bk (11/16/2006)
Response: They require a Health Certificate and an entry permit # which we have. They do not cause damage to trailer...they are cows so they don't have antlers. They are really no problem at all to haul. If you have any more questions...please feel free to ask! Thanks, Ryan (11/16/2006)
Question: Hi Ryan, Thanks so much for the bid request. Unfortunately, I am already booked during that time frame. If I can get any flexability on the pickup between now & then...I'll be sure to let you know and place a bid!! Thanks again and have a Happy Thanksgiving!! Sincerely, Sally @ Mustangs Horses & Transport (11/16/2006)
Response: Thanks for getting back to me Sally! Hope you have a good Thanksgiving too! Hopefully you'll be "home"!!! Ryan (11/16/2006)
Question: i did not realize at first there was all that extra miles to pick up the elk. Plus uship gets there 8 percent.I would haul the elk in your time frame if accepted. Thanks Randy. (11/21/2006)
Response: OK...if you can do any better please put in another bid. Thanks, Ryan (11/21/2006)
Question: Sorry, we don't have the equipment to handle this shipment. Mike (11/22/2006)
Response: Thanks for getting back to me. Have you checked out my other listing? Maybe that will interest you? I need the skins off these 12 elk in this shipment hualed to Kewaskum, WI on the 30th or Dec. 1st...look it up and put in a bid if you can! Thanks, Ryan (11/22/2006)
Question: Generally speaking, how big of a trailer is required to haul all 12 elk? At 600 lbs how tall are they? I seen that you had a few other shipments brought to Seward, is this a on-going thing or is this just that time of the year? Thank you Brent Seay (brentsbg) (11/23/2006)
Response: A 20' trailer is big enough...with two or three compartments to split them up a little bit. You could probably even get them in an 18'...but bigger is better! They are about 6' tall. This is an ongoing thing...not guaranteed...but I don't see it slowing down right now anyway. Thanks for the questions Brent. Ryan (11/23/2006)
Question: IF you want those elk hauled this week $850.00 and I can haul them the 29th and be done. Thanks Randy (11/23/2006)
Response: Thanks Randy. Ryan (11/23/2006)
Question: I could be in Welsh Minnesota between 6 and 6:30 A.M. Green Bay by noon and Illinois by 4 P.M. If I don't have to go to Welsh I could do it for $625.00 If I have to go to Green Bay to Iowa and to Illinois it would be $1000.00 Thanks Randy (11/26/2006)
Response: It's Welch not Welsh...probably just a typo...but wanted to make sure you know the correct city. Times look good...right now it's still Welch to Green Bay to Seward like the listing says. The times look great! Thanks, Ryan (11/26/2006)
