Additional Information: I had all items wrapped for international move by a moving company that never happened; furniture is wrapped but is not boxed or crated. They are now sitting wrapped in a warehouse in Manhattan, NY City. About 1,100 cubic feet and between 8,000 to 9,000 pounds. I am not looking for speed of delivery but price. Tired of paying storage bills. The storage facility will bring my things out of deep storage and you will need to load onto a truck. At destination I will help to unload. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, can you load this on 7/4-7/5? If so, we can make this shipment for $3600. We will send out 3 movers using a semi tractor w/ 45' trailer. Please let me know if you are interested because a bid will have to be accepted by 7/2 (6/30/2008)
Response: Have you been able to decide on workers comp? Or should I exclude you from consideration. I need to know the answer ASAP since I am ready to move and I was going to accept your bid based on the price and your customers' feedback. Thank you. Pavel (7/9/2008)
Response: You can not give contact information through these emails/notes (Uship policy). You must accept a bid before any contact information can be exchanged. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask through here. (7/1/2008)
Response: I will need you to accept this bid in the next 2 days to get this rate I qouted. (7/1/2008)
Response: In the email that did not go through uShip, I asked you whether you have a workers comp and an insurance policy. My storage company in NY will need it to allow you and the truck onto their premises. Also, is you truck padded or not? Do you have blankets or not? Again, my furniture is wrapped for international shipping but is not boxed or crated. Once I have these answers from you, I will let you know what is the earliest that you can load from the storage facility. Thank you. Pavel (7/1/2008)
Response: Yes, we are insured. We do not offer workers comp, but our employees don't mind, so I do not understand why your storage facility will. The trailer is a regular dry-van trailer. We do offer blankets, padding & wrapping. (7/1/2008)
Response: It will take me several more days to wrap it up. I will contact you next week. I will discuss with my storage facility the issue of workers comp. I will let you know. Also, I imagine that all blankets, etc. is included in the price. Is that correct? For unloading in Houston, will the driver help? Thank you. Pavel (7/2/2008)
Response: There will not be any additional charges for tolls, fuel, blankets, etc. The quote given is what you will pay. There will be 2-3 movers in the truck at all time, in NY & TX, that will help with the load & unload. The rate of $3600 is only if you could load this weekend. If you can schedule your pickup for 7/9-7/10, we can still make this shipment for that rate. Any other date will be an additional $250. (7/2/2008)
Response: My storage facility will not let you in without a copy of workers comp. They say that this is the law in the State of NY. They will not budge on this issue; I spoke to the owner of the facility. What can you do about it? The owner also said that every moving company should have it. (7/8/2008)
Response: We just did a move job from a storage in Newburgh, NY. I'm not sure why they are so concerned about other companies policies. If there is anything we can do for you in the future, please let me know. (7/9/2008)
Response: Unfortunately, they told me that this is their company policy since it is required by NY State. (7/9/2008)
