Questions for this shipment:

Question: I will be making this trip 1st part of nov. would you consider 600 cash on delivery. (10/20/2009)
Response: Let me check with the receiving party, I believe he was hoping for $300. We can be flexible with pickup and dropoff locations if it helps (i.e. I can bring it to your point of origin whenever you want it, and he can meet you at your destination.) How would you be transporting it? (Would I need to prep it in any special way?) Thanks, Peter (10/20/2009)
Response: I hauled one of these from RI to Mo a couple months ago however it was mounted on a small trailer . I would be hauling this on a flatbed trailer . one of the cost factors would be the length ,it will take up 11 feet of space almost as much as a small car, I may be able to work a little on price, will depend on rest of booked load. (10/21/2009)
Response: OK, I spoke to the buyer, he said since the boat is only worth $500 he doesn't want to pay $600 to ship it. He said he was hoping for $150 - $200. There's no trailer involved, and I'm shipping all the small pieces separately. It's only about 2 feet wide so if you've got a car on a flatbed we could probably strap this down next to it on either the right or the left, and put the two smaller hull pieces on the other side. The mast can go anywhere. We're not in a tremendous hurry so if you can't do it this time maybe it will make more sense next time? (10/21/2009)
Question: would it be possible to meet in north west Indiana around I65 and the toll road,I will be going south from there. If this is possible I may be able to do for $200 cash on delivery. (10/22/2009)
Response: He says he can probably meet you at 94 & 65 in Indiana but wants to know what day of the week you plan on coming through, do you have your trip planned out to that degree yet? (10/23/2009)
Response: Sorry I don't have a time or date yet ,does he have certain hours of day he can get away.I will keep in touch. (10/24/2009)
Response: He would like to talk to you directly to coordinate. Can I give him your phone number? His name is Peter Swanson and you can e-mail him at [email address removed] (10/25/2009)
Question: what would it take to secure this shipment for you? i will be there around the first of nov. (10/22/2009)
Response: The boat is only worth $500 or so. I picked it up for a friend of mine who lives in Chicago. Since it's not very valuable he doesn't want to spend a lot to ship it and is looking for someone with a little extra room who can fit it in. The boat is only about 20" wide or so, so if you're moving a car you can slide this in next to it. There is no trailer, only a kayak-size hull, 2 smaller outriggers and a mast. He said he's looking to pay $150 - $200, I'm sure he'll entertain offers. I can drop it off somewhere to make the pickup easier for you. (10/23/2009)
Question: You bring to the port in Delware and he picks up on I57 exit 272. $200. Interested? (10/24/2009)
Response: Where is the port in Delware? I'm 15 miles west of Boston. Do you have an address or intersection? (10/25/2009)
Response: The town is called New Castle. (10/25/2009)
Response: Thanks, didn't realize you were talking about having me drive it to Delaware. I have a local bid for $200 and another for $300 with pickup at my house. (10/26/2009)
Question: Hello.$300 for all pickup wednesday or thursday pls advise. (10/26/2009)
Response: Are you proposing door to door? What type of transport will it be (kayak is not crated) (10/26/2009)
Response: Hello. All my service door to door. If you look my feedback 2 month ago I deliver one from MA to chicago Pls let me know I make bid if interested. (10/26/2009)
