Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hi Shipper, Do you have a way to load and unload this barge? We hope you will check out our profile on this site. Thanks, Ron (11/4/2009)
Question:
Greetings Shipper, What time frame are you looking at? Please keep in mind that to transport your boat legally, “Both” a US-DOT number and a Motor Carrier Number are required. We are DOT Compliant and our DOT number as well as our Motor Carrier number is posted on our profile. U-ship generously provides a place on every carrier's profile to post those numbers for all prospective customers to see. You can click on those numbers to be immediately linked to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administrations' web site where you can view interstate credentials, authority and insurance. We hope you will check out our profile, equipment and experience, and get back to us, Thank You. (11/5/2009)
Question:
hi is there loading help ? can do for %400.00 (11/6/2009)
Response:
right now its on a rail , but the owner said he will tow it by water to a nearby boat ramp. I can come down and help load. what type of trailer will you use? thanks (11/7/2009)
Question:
I have a low boy boat hauling trailer that can transport the boat but we will need a lift on both ends. Is that possible? Can it be done next week? Thanks. Allison-Lockview Marina. (11/10/2009)
Response:
I dont have a lift in everett , its going in a warehouse for refurb. But thanks. Tony (11/10/2009)
Question:
This move may sound simple, but they're a few things to consider. First, if this barge is going to be shipped in its normal position, wide load permits will have to be ordered for each state traveled in. We are a flatbed carrier and would need some type of forklift capable of lifting this 24' barge safely. You would have to make these proper arrangements prior to contracting our services. Either way I would like to help you. Please give us a date when you will be ready to ship, and when they will be ready to receive, and unload. Thank you. (11/11/2009)
Question:
After careful review, I do have to agree with the first indiviual who posted a question. All certfied motor carriers are subjected by federal law to have a valid motor carrier identification number, along with a valid USDOT number. With these credentials listed one can view upto date insurance fillings, safety ratings, and safety compliance. These laws govern the transportation industry in order to assure public safety. One may have a valid USDOT number, but may not have the proper credentials for interstae commerce. Both will be needed in order to apply for overwidth permits. I am quite sure that you would not like to see your property sitting inside of an impound yard because you trusted someones word. You may look up any motor carrier for yourself and view their credentials online. Thank you. (11/11/2009)
Question:
Dear Sir, Our bid has recently expired. If you have a way to load this barge, we would be more than happy to remain as an option for you. It would also be helpful if you would be able to find out if they also have a method to unload. Most often then not, most warehouses have the proper equipment to unload. Thank you. (11/14/2009)
Question:
i have a landoll tilt trailer with a winch, if you think this kind of trailer would work let me know and i will place a bid.. (11/14/2009)
