Question: Hello, is someone going to be available to help the driver load/unload or do you need Full Service? Good Day. (1/12/2008)

Response: I will be there to supervise, but will need labor for the lifting and loading. I can hire this separately if it's cost effective. Thanks. (1/12/2008)

Response: Hello, can 2 men load/unload everything? (1/13/2008)

Response: Yes, it would be no problem for two fit people to do the loading. Some items are awkward, but nothing is extremely heavy. In the past I have moved with 3 people just to make the move faster, but two will also work. When I put my things in storage, it took 3 men about 2.5 hours, including loading (from 2nd floor, walk up), unloading (2nd floor w/elevator), AND inner-city travel time. Thanks. (1/13/2008)

Response: Hello, our price $1973.00 2 men will load/unload. if you agree, I will make a bid. Good day. (1/13/2008)

Response: No thank you. I can do it for less than that on my own...I'm trying to find a much lower price...perhaps someone that would otherwise have an empty trailer or partially used trailer going to Texas. Thanks anyway. (1/13/2008)

Question: hey there, your in luck were moving a family the weekend of the 19th to your area then were coming back to texas we could work you a deal...what is your target for tis move..? (1/13/2008)

Response: I do not take possession of the apartment until 01/22 (Tuesday), therefore I cannot accept delivery until, or after that date. What is your exact return date?
"sayersMOVERS" has no history on this site. Before accepting a bid from you (if you give one) I will need to be able to verify the quality of your service and your reliability.
NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS: I did my best to list the items and to indicate the weight (pure guess), so please understand that I will not accept additional charges if you under bid. I have indicated that my household items completely fill a 10'x15' storage room, so please base bids on this information and your experience as to what that will mean weight-wise. Thanks. (1/13/2008)

Response: we have alot of people you may call for our history for your peace of mind ..i do understand that because we new at u-ship if you would like we could fax you a list of people to call for you if that would help?but we will be in your area soon and coming right back to texas.. (1/14/2008)

Response: Again, please give me an EXACT DATE for your departure from Chicago and please indicate your price for the work. Also, what city are you based out of? (1/14/2008)

Response: were out of the shurman ,tx area were moving this next load up there to that area on the 21st this coming weekend..then back here to tx..my wife is a nurse here and we my brother and i just started this u ship and we have lived in this area most are life.we also have some people here that are police that we have been friends for years we can give you there numbers, for your peace of mind ..we was thinking gas and loading it would be around 1200.00 for this trip and we will fax you all these people you can call we know along with all our paper work insurance, lic. (1/14/2008)

Response: Sir, we could probably work something out, but I HAVE to be in Chicago during the loading (for some final packing) and I have to be back to Austin when you get deliver my things, so I must know the EXACT date that you would be picking my things up in Chicago and the EXACT date that you would deliver the load so that I can purchase a plane ticket. The ticket will cost a lot on such late notice.
Can you do the trip for $900? My gas calculations are 1,200 miles, divided by 10 (miles to the gallon) = 120 gallons x $3.00 = $360. One night hotel = $65.00. This leaves you with a little under $500 to cover you and your brother's time and use of the truck (for a trip that you otherwise wouldn't make any money on).
It's late, so I will check for your response tomorrow morning. I will definitely require names and phone numbers to make some calls, but will ask you to email them when/if we have an agreement. Thank you. (1/14/2008)

Response: good morning,to answer you on the dates looks like ill have this family unloaded the21 so i could meet you on the 22 for loading your stuff and once again if this time is not real good let me know i can allways find some money to make here local untill you can get there.but if its ok the 22 is best..#2 we will have your stuff in austin, within 24 hours lets go for the 24 on the date to have it there..#3also sir 900.00 is a fair price for or time and fuel..what we was going to do is give you are cell numbers so will work with you on the date what im trying to say is if we need to work there in that area for a few days we will ..if need be..but lets go for the 22..i do thank you for working with this on this..and we will e-mail you some references and i will go ahead and bid on this..thanks for your time.. (1/15/2008)

Question: Are you willing to supply truck for and have labor supplied both here and in texas? (1/13/2008)

Response: This question doesn't make any sense to me...I am posting this move because I am looking for a mover - not just a driver. Thanks anyway. (1/14/2008)

Response: umm the question made perfect sense read it again I asked you if you would be willing to supply your own truck and I will supply you with labor for both load and unload as I am a mover hense the BIG JOE'S MOVERS (1/14/2008)

Response: 1) You have posted a competitive bid amount, and the details indicate that you will do ALL LOADING (ON/OFF), PROVIDE TRUCK AND DRIVER, and I assume that this charge includes ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES (gas, lodging, tolls, etc.) Please confirm that this is what you are offering.
2) Can you do the pick up in Chicago on ANY date that I choose between 1/28 and 1/31. If not, what are the terms of scheduling.
I will get back to you tomorrow (if you have been able to respond to my questions by then).
Thank you. (1/14/2008)

Response: ok that posting was for no truck. There is no moving company that could afford to do your single load for that price I would supply labor for that price or if you want I would supply truck and all for about 1600 (1/14/2008)

Response: Thank you for your time working on this, but I must decline your offer to do the move for $1,600.00. This is too expensive for me. I understand that as a one-way trip this would be a good price, but it is not what I am hoping to work out. Thank you and continued success with your business. (1/15/2008)

Question: We can load and unload your things for you. Transport them pad a wrap everything as well for $2000. I know you can do it for less yourself, but you are not doing it yourself so you you will pay more then you can do it yourself for. Seth (1/14/2008)

Response: Here's the thing Seth...I am able to drive a rented truck between Chicago and Texas. I have the time and the ability, and I already have companies on either end that I'd hire labor from if I were to do this.
The purpose of posting on this site is to see if there is a person/company already driving between these points with a partially-filled or empty trailor who would be able to offer me a good price (vs. having to eat the cost of the trip completely.)
So thanks, but I'll wait for the right situation/price, or do it myself :) (1/14/2008)
