Additional Information: This FTL shipment will be loaded onto a flatbad trailer to be pulled by a semi tractor. We are using this load to test a new exhaust pipe tip that is designed to provide significant fuel savings. We'd need to intrument the tractor (1/2 day) and compare fuel consumption with and with the new exhaust pipe tip over a 500 mile drive (one day) from Carson city to Elko (NV) and back. For two days total. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: I AM A LITTTLE CONFUSED AS TO WHAT YOU NEED. AS I UNDERSTAND IT YOU HAVE A PRELOADED TRAILER THAT YOU NEED A TRACTOR TO PULL 500 MILES AFTER YOU PUT SOMETHING ON THE EXHAUST PIPE WHICH TAKES A HALF OF DAY. IS THIS CORRECT? ALSO DO YOU NEED TO DRILL HOLES ETC INTO THE TRUCK TO INSTALL THIS? ALSO WILL THE DRIVER BE ABLE TO KEEP THE SYSTEM IF IT WORKS WELL. THANK YOU DARRYL CARGOMOTIONS (9/30/2009)
Response: I would need the load driven 500 miles round trip and then driven again 500 more miles round trip. Once with and once without the device installed on the tip of the exhaust pipe. No drilling on the exhaust stack. The exhaust pipe needs to be 5 inches and there needs to be to of them vertical and flat top. We will measure exact fuel consumption with and without the device. Also, we need to install minor wind speed instrumentation on the truck. (9/30/2009)
Response: OK NOW I UNDERSTAND COMLETELY FOR THE TOTAL 2 DAYS AND 1000.00 THE TOTAL ALL INCLUSIVE PRICE IS 2000.00 PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS WILL FOR YOU. (9/30/2009)
Response: Please submit a bid. I will then accept it and we could then talk on the phone to make sure we are in line with each other's expectations. (10/6/2009)
