Question: Hello, this is Sean Donohoe from The Shipping Shack Inc Florida. We would like to assist you in your shipment. In order to give an accurate bid, we would need the following information: are you able to place more than 1 bag on a pallet to cut down on space? If so, then this will also cut down on cost because you would not have to pay for a FULL TRUCK (DRY VAN OR FLATBED)!If there has to be 10 pallets, are you okay with tarps being used for cover, which does not guarantee to keep any moisture out what so ever? Please let us know and hopefully we will be able to help you. Have a great day! (2/24/2009)

Response: There are actually 10 bags per pallet @ 100lbs per bag. The bags are bound by plastic wrap to keep them from sliding off the pallet. These can be stacked to as high as needed as long as they are secured and cannot fall over to spill.
Tarps are suggested because if moisture gets into the bag of material (ore/crushed gravel) they take on water and will make your load heavier. The plastic wrap should cut this down and with the tarp over it, it will be enough.
If you have any further questions we are always happy to answer them. (2/24/2009)

Response: Thank you for your quick response. Also, can you please inform us the declared value of this rock material. We are working on obtaining a quote less than the previous bid of $1,250. If we come across anything less than that amount we will let you know as soon as we do. Either way we will try to let you know with about 3 business days. Please stand by! Again, thank you for your response. (2/24/2009)

Response: Thank you. The declared value of this shipment is $15,000.
Will all the paperwork from your shippers be included? We are unable to process the needed paperwork for interstate travel.
Thank you for your bids!

Response: The shipping papers that are provided are the Bill of Ladings for the driver to obtain at the time of pickup. This will be sent to you via phone, fax or email (once information distributed by UShip.com after you accept bid) that you would need to print and place with the shipment. (2/24/2009)

Response: That would be fine to send them by email. We can print them out and have them ready. Thanks so very much!

Response: We have had to change the shipping details slightly. Please review our request for bid and let me know if you can meet the previous bid of $1245. Thank you for your time. Paypal payments are no problem. We are set up as a business with verified accounts. (3/3/2009)

Response: Thank you for your interest, but we are unable to match the previous bids. Again, thank you for your request! (3/3/2009)
