Hello are you still looking for delivery service? I am going to have a truck in LA the week of July 19th that could pick up and have you delivered into MO by the end of the week. We are fully insured with $1,000,000 liability and up to $100,000 in cargo insurance. If you are looking for service and those dates work for you let us know and I wiil post a fair bid. Response: Yes, I am looking for delivery service and would definitely entertain a bid from you. Dates are not an issue. I have been trying to find someone that is already in the area that may be coming to the midwest that can pick up our items and drop them off on their way to keep the cost down, but definitely willing to pay for the service. Response: I think this is very reasonable compared to other bids I have received. I am talking to my wife about it and most likely will accept your bid and get the process started. The situation is this... My wife's grandmother passed away a few years ago and her husband is living in Lancaster, CA and has the dining room table with chairs, china cab, small table and a secretary desk that he really doesn't want. My wife has only seen this stuff in person one time. My wife's mother has contacted him and got the dimensions so I'm very hopeful that we got close. We kind of guessed on the weight but I had photos of the stuff mailed to me so I tried to be on the high side for weight. I hope I'm close and hope if we accept there won't be any issues since some of it is a guess?7/17/2010Report a Violation
Response: : Weight is not an issue if you are off on that. The space it takes up is most important. But I think we will be fine. Can the table base come off the table if need be to save room? Response: The table does come off the base so it can be wrapped and put on it's side. The only other delicate piece is the china cabinet. It has a lot of glass in it including glass shelves. Just wanted you to know that before we make any decision to accept.7/17/2010Report a Violation
