1 mantle top piece - oak
Description: This piece is a solid oak mantle surround - the top only. The pieces are wrapped basically in an "L" shape, i.e. not solid within the "L". It needs to be handled with care, but is not glass or any other material that will shatter. It has already been packaged. See below.

Special Handling Instructions:

I won this piece long ago, and thru another carrier error, only half was picked up. It is coming from Fort Plain, NY to Wheaton, IL. If the shipper can get it within 2 hours of Wheaton (i.e. Chicago area) we could complete the distance to our home. (IF YOU ARE THINKING OF THIS, PLEASE SPECIFY IN YOUR BID SO WE CAN EVALUATE PRICE. OTHERWISE, WE'LL ASSUME DOOR TO DOOR.)This was an e-bay auction item, but is no longer on e-bay server.

Additional Information: Shipper will need to coordinate w/ seller in NY for specific date of pick/up - very responsive person and easy to work with. Delivery end has covered front porch where item can be left, especially if we know date of arrival. 5 steps to front porch. We need this piece within a few weeks, but are flexible within that time.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: I have an crew cab dually. Will it fit back their? Its a big back seat area? (2/19/2008)

Response: Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with particular trucks/sizes. If it has an opening 6X6 with a 1 ft. depth...it should work. I would prefer it lay flat. Hope this helps (2/19/2008)

Response: I am waiting on a bid that will have me go to Bethlehem from Ottawa so that delivery would be after unloading there and loading in Carlinville, IL (by I-55 and 108) and then I will go north to you before heading for NY to load and come down to VA and NC. So It will be about a week before delivery. I am now in PA driving towards NY city to unload and then to Toronto to unload. I hope I have not confuse you. (3/10/2008)
