Questions for this shipment:
Question:
can he be picked up thurs. evening, fri.morning of this week, and delivered say tuesday sometime of next week? (3/7/2007)
Response:
I put this dog in a kennel in Texas and my daughter left out today by plane to Norfolk. If necessary, I may be able to find someone who can pick him up in Dallas and drive him to Oklahoma City, it that would make a difference as to whether you can transport him. We are pretty anxious to get him out of that kennel. Thank you. (3/7/2007)
Question:
poor ole digger, he probably wants to come home. (3/7/2007)
Response:
If you could pick him up in Dallas, let us know. She's pretty anxious to get him there. [email removed] I'll give the number to Jenny and perhaps you can workout something. She's leaving Dallas today herself at 4:00 p.m. on ATA. [NOTE: Once a bid is accepted, both parties' contact info will be exchanged. -uShip] (3/7/2007)
Question:
i'm trying to get some things in order to see if i can help you in anyway. i'm leaving colorado right now coming to va. that's why when it said he was in ok.city i was going to swing down and pick him up and ride with me. i'm on a tight schedule and he couldn't get to ok. from dallas before i got thru there. i have a pickup trk in tx. needing taken to va., letg me see if i can help you out. i know how much people love their animals as so do i.taskcompleted. (3/7/2007)
Response:
Thank you so much. I am trying to get my sister who lives in Oklahoma City to try to pick him up and then she could probably even drive him over to you. I don't mind if you call me if that's okay. [phone number removed] Thanks for any help you can provide. (3/7/2007)
Question:
Y'ALL CAN'T BE GIVING OUT PHONE NUMBERS OR EMAIL ADDYS! THAT VIOLATES USHIP AGREEMENTS. SOMEONE HAS TO BID, AND YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT BID, BEFORE YOU CAN DIRECTLY COMMUNICATE. SORRY! THOSE ARE THE RULES. YOU'RE GONNA GET "REDFLAGGED" I'LL GUARANTEE IT! (3/7/2007)
Response:
Sorry - I'm new to this and desparately trying to get a dog back to mama. Won't happen again! (3/7/2007)
Question:
IF YA'LL CAN'T GET ALL THIS SETTLED, I'M HEADING FOR DALLAS, THEN CALIFORNIA. BUT, THAT MEANS I GOTTA HAVE THE PUP WITH ME FOR 7 OR 8 DAYS. I DON'T MIND, BECAUSE WE ARE "DOG PEOPLE". I'LL BE COMING THRU NORFOLK AROUND THE 20TH OF MARCH, BUT WOULD PICK THE BIG BOY UP AROUND THE 13TH, OR SO. YA RECKON THAT WOULD WORK? VNVeteransXpress (Read my feedback?). (3/7/2007)
Response:
Hi Veteran, not sure where we are at now. This is a strange situation and we had to get our daughter out of Texas quickly without her beloved pup ("abusive relationship"). At this point, she is on a plane to VA and I'm not quite sure where the dog is. I'm waiting for her to arrive safely, give me correct info on where to rescue her dog (the kennel she told me about does not show she checked him in) and do everything in my power to get him to her in Virginia. Time is flexible as long as we can get the dog to someone. I'm in Chicago which makes this even more difficult. (3/7/2007)
Question:
Can't figure out if I want Chicago Pizza, or a Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich? Just kidding. I can stand by. We've been thru all of what you just mentioned, and understand it so well. So, well! Be paitent - it, too, in time will pass. Isn't that what the BOOK says? ONce you get down to figuring out where the dog is - give me a holler! We'll get the pup taken care of, and back to HER. Capt Dale, VNVeteransXpress (3/7/2007)
Question:
Thank you for requesting my bid. At this time or during the next 30 days I will not be able to help you due to prior commitments in other parts of the country. Bobby8591 (3/7/2007)
Question:
Hi, we would be able to pick up in Dallas around 3/15-3/16 when in route from CA to the East Coast. Only problem that I can see is that it might be difficult to work around a kennel's normal business hours as we can't determine when we will be going through Dallas until we are actually in route. Please let me know if this timeframe would work for you. Our price would be around $300, door to door service. We are a USDA licensed pet transporter and provide the crate for the trip, bedding, bottled water and anything else that is needed for a safe and comfortable trip. We would require a health certificate, food and a collar. Let me know ASAP so that I can place my bid and if accepted we can talk over the telephone. Lisa, LNT Pet Transport (3/7/2007)
Response:
Hello Lisa, The kennel is part of an animal hospital (just outside DFW arpt) so it won't be a problem for pick-up (open 24/7). However, if you can't pick up until after 3/15, I want to try to get him out of there as it is costly and my sis may be able to do this for me (I'm in Chicago). She'd bring him to OK City. Would either location work for you? (3/8/2007)
Question:
Mom, once you figure all this out, if I can't get the pup, Lisa with LNT Transport can. We'll help ya thru this, so just calm down. That's what USHIP is here for. Capt Dale (3/7/2007)
Response:
Bless you. You and taskmaster have been simply fantastic. I have to find out exactly where old Digger is. I can't explain what all has been going on other than she (my daughter) has had to shield this dog from the abusive boyfriend. She was scheduled to leave once or twice before and he stole her ID so she couldn't board and seized the dog. This is the most unbelieveable thing I've ever been through. I am hoping to hear from her tonight that she has finally arrived in VA to her grandma's house. Thanks. I'll keep you informed. May need help. (3/7/2007)
Question:
Sometimes, when trouble seems too heavy to carry, ya just gotta sit down, relax, and know everything will be OK. Tomorrow will be an entirely new day. (3/7/2007)
Response:
Thanks for your help Veteran. As you can probably see, Lisa is in contact with me. BTW, my dad is a WW2 veteran. He was on the Hornet and the Yorktown (both sunk). This is where I sent my daughter (grandparents in VA) and she just arrived late last night. Her old hound dog is breaking my wallet and so is she! lol We parents gotta do what we gotta do. (3/8/2007)
Question:
TELL ME ABOUT IT! WHERE'S THE DOG? (3/8/2007)
Response:
My daughter checked him into an animal hospital/kennel in Irving (airport frwy). They charge me $20/day for every day he is there. Lisa won't be passing thru Dallas until after 3/15. My sister may be able to pick him up this weekend and take him to her house in Oklahoma City if Lisa can pick him up there as opposed to Dallas which would save me some money. The airlines can't ship him to Norfolk because he's 5 lbs over the 50 lb limit. Pup is a problem! (3/8/2007)
Question:
Hi, and yes, either Denton or Ok City would be OK. We will be traveling up through OK so if Digger is relocated wouldn't be a problem but the pick up date would be delayed approx 3 to 4 days as we are traveling down into TX from CA prior to heading back out and my original dates were to pick up on our way down into TX. Just keep us posted. There are many of us on here willing to help and like Vet Dave says, between all of us someone will be able to get lil ole Digger back to where he belongs in VA. Lisa, LNT Pet Transport (3/8/2007)
Response:
Lisa, I'm back to trying to get Digger shipped out via air a little bit sooner. I'm sure he is miserable in that kennel trapped in a cage. I will let you know if we still need your help. Thank you very much. (3/8/2007)
Question:
Mom, I'm not sure what the question is, if there is a question. You, apparently don't need transporting anymore, right? If not - good luck. My 44 year old has the same problems. They're nothing but expensive, and hassles. (3/8/2007)
Question:
Hello If this still needs to be done i can do it I can pick up this sunday. let me know. thanks (3/8/2007)
Response:
I contacted a lady who can put him on a plane but not until Wednesday and it is still "iffy" if the temp is below 45, AA won't fly him to Norfolk but to Baltimore. If you got him Sunday, how long would it be to travel to Norfolk and can you do it near my $200 target price? Thanks. (3/9/2007)
Question:
Okie Dokie, just keep us posted and could be we will still have an avail crate on our trip up to the NE. Lisa, LNT Pet Transport (3/8/2007)
Question:
Hello Thanks for responding. If I pick him up on Sunday I will plan on being in Norfolk on Monday evening or early tuesday. I am actually headed to Langley Air Force Base and I know Norfolk isn't much further. Yes, I can do it for your target price (pus uship's fee). I'm not sure what the total would be including the uship fee but i will place the bid and it will show. Thanks! Michael (3/9/2007)
