Additional Information: Shipping from private home to private home. Weight plates can be removed for ease of loading, if necessary. Lift gate hepful, but 2 or 3 stong guys should be able to do the job. Offload is at ground level - equipment will be moved directly into my garage.
Experience moving weightlifting equipment a plus, but not mandatory. Pickup before Memorial Day preferred.

Question: Hello - would the shipper (or originating location) be willing to place & secure item to suitable pallet / skid so as to be acceptable for common carrier service? ... THX (5/19/2008)

Response: I can find out, BUT : even if he puts it on a pallet and secures it (ropes or shrink wrap or whatever) it will 'hang over' the edge of the pallet (refer to dimensions). IS OVERHANG ALLOWED? Thanks for the interest. Tom (5/19/2008)

Response: Given what we would have to work with, then overhang can't be avoided unless two std pallets are "strong backed" together which I doubt shipper would be willing to undertake ... so if placed / secured to at leastt one good pallet & isn't tippy, then this should do ... carrier always has fianl decision to accept or not for carriage ... will consider a rate on this premise ..
