George, are you looking for flatbed transport?

Response: No it needs to be in a van. It is a power tool and can't be in the elements.

Response: : Got it. I just wanted to make sure. Thank you for the response, and good luck.

Response: sure, I am new to this but uship came highly reccommended by the seller. Your photo shows you have a cargo van, is it unavailable? sure, I am new to this but uship came highly reccommended by the seller. Your photo shows you have a cargo van, is it unavailable?

Response: : I currently have an enclosed truck in Florida right now, but I'm completely full. I asked about it because I also have a 40' gooseneck right now in Florida. Just some advice, Uship is great, but many people want to low-ball. meaning that they will place a bid for some ridiculous shipping rate. My advice to you, is that you get what you pay for. Pay attention to the feedbacks. Those feedbacks are like gold for carriers, because it represents who they are. a cheap rate, can sometimes be more expensive in the long run i.e. it gets damaged during transport or something to that extent.

Response: Thanks for the info and advice. I looked at yours and they look good. At the end of the day all you have is your reputation. I want to get an idea about how much it will cost to ship to see if it is justified to purchase.
Thanks again, safe travels!

Hello George, Jim here. What exactly is your item? It looks like something we have at my job(a CNC type PVC welder or a rowder)Plus, are the dimentions accurate? My trailer doorway is 67" tall by 61" wide, or can your item be dis-assembled. Just trying to see if I can help you out. Thanks.

Response: Hi Jim,
It is a table CNC router it is a 48"x 48" cutting area and stands about 5ft high. I know the legs come off and the gantry, etc. can be disassembled so it would be more like 60"x60" by closer to 36 to 48 inches. I believe it can be then stood on its side and secured to the trailer wall. I will double check with the seller to see how small we can get it. Thanks for your interest

Response: : Thanks for responding. I will be in Tampa area labor day weekend and then KC the next. Is your timeframe for shipping flexible? Jim.
8/12/2012
Response: I am flexible. I have not won the auction yet and part of the decision was how much it would cost for shipping. Your timeframe works for me. How does pricing look from Florida to Kansas? George
8/12/2012
Response: : Right now I would have to say around 450 as I would probably have to recruit some helpers at both ends and I don't have anything else to go on my trailor back to missouri. However, if the item can be broken down somewhat and I can get another delivery, I could go lower.Thanks.
8/13/2012
Response: Thanks for the estimate. I have checked with the seller to see how much he can get it disassembled and I will let you know. I will have help on this end to get it unloaded. I'm a working man as well, an extra load will save me AND would get you more income too. Let me see what I can come up with. George Jim,
The seller will help on his end and have the table broken down to stand on its side 60"x60"x about 30 to 36" wide. He will have a couple of boxes for the computer monitor, keyboard, etc. Will that help you to have room for another delivery?
thanks
George
8/13/2012
Response: : Hi George. I think that will work. I will have room in the cab or truck bed for loose items if needed. I will have a motorcycle on the trailer as well. I'm going to send you a bid. Jim.
8/15/2012
Response: Great! Look forward to getting your bid.
Thanks
George
Jim,
I've emailed the seller to ensure the pick up date is good and they will have the help available. I will let you know as soon as I hear something back.
George Jim,
Sorry I have run into an issue. I emailed the seller to ensure everything was fine and he emailed back later in the day saying it was a go. So
I went to the auction but he ended it and took the machine off. I have emailed twice to see if he would let me know what was going on, but he hasn't yet. I am sorry I have not meant to lead you along.
George

Response: : I understand that things can happen George, no worries. I had to abandon your shipment because I booked two more motorcycles and am working on others for my trip to florida. Believe it or not, you are rare! Most folks, and I mean most, don't even respond when something like that happens. I've seen multiple postings come and go without the poster even answering a question or respond to a bid. It's very frustrating when we're trying to schedule routs within timeframes and such. Best of luck to you and I hope things work out. Jim
