Question: FYI - as per uShip rules, bid rated all inclusive per posting info: “Business to Residential” with liftgate service curbside for both ... Shipper (consignor) to load palletized engine onto liftgate & Consignee to unload same from liftgate ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX (P.S. - Cost savings can often be realized by consignee picking-up shipment at carrier’s terminal location so as to avoid residential, limited access and/or liftgate accessorial charges ... Terminal location for shipment’s destination within 11 miles of ZIP 33324 ... advise if this would be a preferable option and will rate to suit.) (6/8/2009)

Response: The pickup and drop off locations are both business locations and both have fork lifts to put the pallet on and take it off of the drivers lift gate. Terminal delivery would be possible and preferable if the terminal has a fork lift that can transfer the pallet to the back of a large SUV. Please advise if this is available. Pick up location is a commercial warehouse in a commercial district with no residential street restrictions. Thank You. (6/8/2009)

Response: Ok .. this changes the rates & carrier slightly since delivery location is not a residential one ... destination terminal would transfer pallet to back of SUV / pickup truck however for this carrier the destination terminal is 18 miles distant instead of 10 miles from ZIP 33324 ... would this still work for destination terminal pickup as per your indicated preference? ... let me know ... Response: Dave, Thanks for the great communication. Yes it would work. So what is the final figure for commercial pickup at warehouse with dock and fork lift and delivery to terminal with transfer to suv/pickup via fork lift at destination terminal? Thanks Dan (6/9/2009)

Shipper (consignor) to load item(s) to back of truck at curbside & Consignee to pick-up same from destination terminal (rate to business destination with loading dock or forklift would be same as destination terminal pickup) ... Question: NFS BID NOTE!!!!! Current bid include liftgate at both ends and residential service at destination. A cheaper option is terminal to terminal or business to business for $175.00. Becarefull and read what type of service the new carriers are offering. let me know Thanks Dave NFS (6/9/2009)
