Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi shipper, we're an independent moving company based out of Iowa City, IA. We're doing a move down to Texas on leaving on the 12th. Would this date work? Did you need crates built for these, as movers, we move all manner of awkward and fragile items without special containers. Our minimum charge for interstate moves is $400. Sincerely, Billy - Adamantine Spine Moving (10/30/2009)
Response: Hi, Billy! The 12th would work well, no problem. You would be moving just one herky statue that I recently purchased. I have been told it is more awkward than heavy. It is made of fiberglass and is 150 pounds, about 6' tall, 5' long and 4' wide. It has a 3' x 5' base. I am thinking just wrapping it in blankets/bubblewrap would be the protection it needs. I am located in Ft Worth area, easy access from I-35. If you could cut me any sort of deal, I would love to use a local company. Your web site is fabulous! Thanks and Go Hawks! Angie (10/31/2009)
