Response: I have some flexibility in the dates. The dates that will work best are November 1st, 2nd, 5th, or 6th. Is there a difference in price depending on the date? If you had a different date in mind, please let me know and I will see if it will work with my schedule. Thanks. (10/21/2006)

Response: It can't be dropped off any sooner than 11/1 as that is when my lease starts. The dates that would work best are November 1st, 2nd, 4th, or 5th. Do any of these work for you? Does the bid include insurance? (10/21/2006)

Response: I'm a female. I am looking for load & unload services and am not planning to do much of the loading/unloading myself. Everything will be boxed with the exception of the larger furniture-type items. The only item of any significant weight is a desk. I will help bring in small boxes, but everything else needs to be handled by movers. Dates are somewhat flexible. The earliest can be November 1st because that is when my lease starts. Response: I wish, however I am in my best friend's wedding that day. It is possible to do it the weekend afterwards (11/17 or 11/18) if I can't find someone to do it the weekend before (11/4 or 11/5). (10/22/2006)

Response: There is one other guy who may be able to do the move earlier. If he can't accomodate the time, I would love to have you move my things the weekend of the 17th & 18th. Question: Here's our situation. This trip will cost us about $300 in expenses to make the round trip. We typically do not go to Chi area unless we have over $1000 in shipments. That is combined there and back. We will keep watching for other shipments to make the minimum amount. If I can get that accomplished, then a bid will be placed for $500 to do your move. Otherwise to guarantee a spot, we can place a bid for $750 and we will do the move regardless of other shipments. It is your call, hope you understand. Either way, the utmost care will be taken with your belongings. We are just 2 teachers trying to make the extra $. Unfortunately we can only do weekends. unless you are willing to cover our sub pay which is $250 each ($500 extra) to do during week during school year. Sorry for that, but we do want to help! Response: Okay, so I am assuming that you have another shipment on/around 11/11 to make the $500 trip worthwhile. I can make arrangements for this date to work if the offer is still available. I just would not be there. It could be picked up Saturday (11/11/06) early morning and then delivered either same day or next day (Sunday 11/12/06). My mother would be home for the pick up of the items, and my friend would have keys to my new apartment and be able to let you in to drop off the stuff (either Sat or Sun). I'm not sure if this makes a big difference for you or not. Please let me know what we can do to work this out. Thanks! (10/22/2006)
Question: Sorry to confuse you. At this point, you would be the only shipment wheter it was 11-11 or 11-18. We are not available on 11-4 because of grad class on that day. we don't expect there to be a problem finding a return shipment, but just wanted to explain our situation. We can guarantee the trip for $750. or we can wait until there is another secured shipment before placing the bid of $500, just let us know which weekend you would like and we will watch for other shipments.
