Question: Items listed is this all or will there be other furniture and appliances or washer and dryer?
Thanks
(11/27/2007)

Response: Yes, that is all. My Mother passed away earlier this month and these are items that I inherited and boxes of her items. No other furniture or applicanes. (11/27/2007)

Response: Thank you for your response, I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing and my prayers are with you. I lost my mother Jan will be 3 yrs and it is very tough. I totally understand about items are not valuable but they are valuable to us as they have special.
Sorry it has taken so long to respond but I have been away from the computer and am trying to work our schedule out and if we can we will palce a bid.
Lynn (12/1/2007)

Response: Lynn,
I am getting lots of requests for placing bids. If you are interested, please let me know. I need to make a decision this week. Thank you. (12/3/2007)

Response: Tammi,
Thanks you for considering us for the shipment of your treasured items and the patience of waiting for my response. I have tried to put our schedule together to take your shipment but so far I have not been able to work it out. I understand that you need to make a decision and I will keep a watch on you post and should anything change I will place my bid. We to are based out of southern OK down by Ada so again I will keep a watch but I know that there are alot of great transporters on this site that will do you a good job. God Bless and will hopefully be able to place a bid.
Lynn (12/3/2007)

Response: Sounds good, Lynn. Thanks for letting me know. (12/3/2007)

Question: Hello, will there be someone on each end at pick up & delivery times?---Just wondering if times need to be specific. Thanks in advance---Sorry about your loss. (11/28/2007)

Response: Thank you. Yes, there will be someone on each end. The pick up in Oklahoma would need to be scheduled for the morning, but the Chula Vista end could be anytime. We would just need to know ahead of time an approximate time. (11/29/2007)

Response: Thanks for the response. If it would work for you, I am planning on another pick up in your area the end of next week and could deliver approximately 7 to 10 days later. Right now I have 4 other stops on the way. Though I am new to UShip, I am not new to business & pleasing customers. If this time frame works for you, I can give you a formal bid. I would just need to fianlize it by Monday to get my stops lined out--Thanks Again! (PS-Though my profile shows open trailers, I also have enclosed which your's would be delivered in) (11/29/2007)

Question: Hello, I live in Oklahoma City & I am new to UShip but not new to transportation. Like all new shippers on this site, I need to develop some positive ratings as soon as possible. I could pick this up for you the end of next week & deliver it within 7 to 10 days, to be paid at deliver point, not up front, I would just need to know soon. I can do this for $675. Please let me know if I can be of assistance & I will submit a formal bid. Either way, I would appreiacte heqaring from you. (12/1/2007)

Response: I would be very interested. Can you tell me a bit about your transportation experience and what assurance that I would have that my items would be delivered to me and in the same condition in which they were stored? I am all for helping anyone get a good rating. These items aren't extremely valuble, but valuble to me because of my Mother's passing. Let me know and we can go from there. Thank you. (12/1/2007)

Response: Thank you for the quick response.
With the company we owned for 28 years we had over a dozen trucks & trailers that hauled our own items for the conruction industry. Though obviously some of these items were steel & not delicate, many items were including windows. To more relate to what you are moving, we recently moved all my mother-in-laws belongings when she moved to a new town, my daughter's since her husband just went to Iraq and a couple of years ago I moved my dad from Wichita KS to Norman, OK at the VA center when he was diagnosed with Alheimer's.
I understand about items that have as much setimental value as they do practictal value and would work very hard to make sure they arrived safley. I hope this helps, I would be glad to answer any more questions you may have. Thank you for the consideration! (12/1/2007)

Response: When would you be able to pick up the load? My Brother will be available on Friday (12/9/07) in the morning. My Nephew could be there on Saturday (12/10/07). If it is the following week, that is fine, but my Brother works evenings and it would have to be a morning pickup. Please let me know a.s.a.p. I have had 2 other bids, but am willing to give you 1st shot. Thank you. (12/3/2007)

Response: I can't thank you enough for considering me and alowing me to have first shot. Though it appears I could pick this up next week, my schedule is a litte uncertain at this time. If time is a factor please don't hesitate to take the bid you feel comfortable with. I will keep this load on my watch page just in case you don't get someone before I'm ready to leave. God Bless! (12/3/2007)

Response: Next week would be much better for all of us. When do you think you will have your schedule set? I am not in a big rush, but would really like to have my Mother's items with me. It has been a month today since she passed and I think it might help the grieving process to have some of her items in sight and around me. (12/3/2007)

Response: Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I will know by (CST)6:30 PM for sure today but with what I know now, i can pick this up for the price I offered you earlier & could pick up the first of next week. Thank you for your patience & let me know if I can still help. Skip (12/5/2007)

Response: Augh...I just found another shipper and asked him to place a bid....like 5 minutes ago. If it doesn't work out...I will definitely email you. Thank you so much!! (12/5/2007)

Response: Thanks, just let me know! (12/5/2007)

Response: The other shipper just fell thru. One of his shipments cancelled and he can't just deliver my load. So, if you are interested, please let me know. Thanks. (12/5/2007)

Response: Hey Tammi,
Everything is ready to go! Would you like for me to send you a formal bid, or is there something else we need to do??--Thanks for your patience---Skip (12/5/2007)

Question: i can do it for 1000..includes 60 cent per pound insurance (12/2/2007)

Response: What is your schedule for pick up and delivery? (12/3/2007)

Response: tell me what dates you want for pickup..then i can give you a pickup and dropoff date (12/3/2007)

Response: My schedule is open. The load is at my Brother's home and he is very busy this week, but next week it could be picked up. He works in the evenings, so it would have to be picked up in the mornings. (12/3/2007)

Response: ok..well i can pick up next week sometime in the morning..i can give a 48 notice to pickup..dropoff could be anywhere from 3 to 10 day and i can give a 48 notice on it to (12/3/2007)

Response: I am seriously considering your offer. Where are you located? Since my Brother lives in a somewhat remote location outside of Roland, he has offered to place the load on his trailer and meet the driver in Muldrow or Roland. Also, would my merchandise be traveling in an enclosed trailer? Thanks for your help. (12/4/2007)

Response: yes..in an enclosed trailer..also my trailer is in mena arkansas right now so its not too far from the pickup..i stay in bakersfield california..i left my trailer down there to pull someone elses trailer.. (12/4/2007)

Response: If you would like, go ahead and place your bid. We will go with you. I forgot 1 item on the list..I have a small quilt rack that holds 3 quilts and weighs close to nothing and a 4 in 1 printer that is in it's original box with the packing intact. As for the table lamp listed, my Brother is working on getting a box for it to go in. Let me know if this extra works for you. It isn't much, but wanted to let you know before you picked up the load. Thank you. (12/5/2007)

Response: OK..THANKS (12/4/2007)

Question: Still need shipping? (12/5/2007)

Response: Yes, and I saw your bid yesterday and am very interested. My husband and I viewed your profile and it is very impressive. Do you carry insurance and when would you be available to pick up? The items that I have are not valuable, but my Mother passed away last month and they have extreme sentimental value to me. Let me know and hopefully we can finalize today. Thanks so much. (12/5/2007)

Response: Pick up Thursday evening or Friday morning. Deliver on Monday, 10 Dec. Bid price includes insurance and all costs associated with the pick up, transport, and delivery of your shipment. Pls note this bid/price is good for Thursday pick up only as we are already in the area. I have placed a bid and look forward to your response. Thanks, Chris & Christi. (12/5/2007)

Response: Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, my Brother is at my Mother's home finishing all the details...cleaning, garage sale, etc. this week. He works evenings. He would be available next week, but I understand if you are going to be in the area and can't pick up on Monday or anytime after Sunday, Dec 9. Let me know if you have future loads in the next week and I would be interested in shipping with you if the bid is the same. Thank you. (12/5/2007)

Response: No, I do not have any future loads going out west but if something comes up maybe we can still do business. If anything changes on your end let me know and I'll try to get you scheduled. Thanks, Chris. (12/5/2007)

Response: Oh, that's too bad. I was looking forward to doing business with you. Your profile is great and my Brother in Illinois is a Vietnam Vet and we are a very patriotic family and try to send out business to other Vets. Thank you, anyway. Be safe and thanks for the interest in my load. (12/5/2007)

Question: things that seem to good to be true is sometimes exactly that.. i see you have a bid for under 700 ..good luck..i will cancel my bid..be carefull..this is just like ebay..alot of scammers and unreliable people (12/6/2007)

Response: Don't cancel your bid just yet. We are making a decision today. Just hold tight for a few hours if you can. (12/6/2007)

Response: just like ebay ,,check peoples feedback..if they have no feed back..than sometimes read there profile and you can find sometimes things that dont make sense or go with what they might have wrote to you..i cant promise you anything..my bid is about to expire..im talking to someone else right now..i might still be able to rebid..but be careful who you use if its not me..cause there are alot of scammers and unreliable hard to contact people on here (12/6/2007)

Response: Looks like we are going with you. I just spoke to my husband and we feel more comfortable with your profile. It will still be transported in a closed truck and you can pick up next week? Thank you. (12/6/2007)

Response: ofcourse enclosed..the one time i had to put something out of my enclosed trailer is because i was trying to be nice and took someones things that had alot more than what was listed and got to my next customer and they had exactly what they said..so i had to put some boxes and a book case and magazine rack in the back...the person was hurting for money and wanted to get more money for thing she bought at a goodwill she told me..i gave her more than the things were worth,,her parents was at the pickup..i didnt charge her extra for the extra things i took,,afterwards her dad told me sorry and that she dont have it all up stairs,,she wasnt at the pickup .. ..as long as you got what you said it will be enclosed.. (12/6/2007)

Response: It's what I said. I think I emailed you that I did forget about the small quilt rack and that my Brother is boxing up the lamp. Also, a small 4-1 printer that is in it's original box. I think I have remembered everything. What size is your truck. My Brother lives north of Roland and would be willing to meet you in Roland or Muldrow if your trailer is really large. Just let me know if the few extra items are okay and when you would be able to pick up and I will accept the bid. Thank you. (12/6/2007)

Response: i dont mind those things,,i had one time where they had 36 boxes listed...there mom tole them she had around 36 boxes..honest to God she had 136 plus alot of other things not listed..theywhere christians and they paid me alot more cause i took real good care of there mom that has mental problem...i have plenty of room for your things,,i need to find something to go with your thing lol..you will only take up maybe hald of the room i have (12/6/2007)

Response: Okay..yes, my stuff doesn't take up lots of room. just let me know as soon as you get something lined up. I am going to go ahead and accept your offer. My Brother works afternoons, so the load would have to be loaded in the morning time. Thanks and I am very excited to get my Mom's stuff..think it will help the grieving process to have her items in front of me. Thanks again...... (12/6/2007)

Response: oh yeah,,i forgot all about that..im sorry about the passing..my grandmother just passed last month...i will wrap the things up real nice and they will arrive exactly how i get them.. (12/6/2007)

Response: Bid has been placed. Thanks for taking the load and for understanding that my valubles are so precious to me. Sorry for the loss of your Grandmother. (12/6/2007)
