Response: Hi. The boxes are for one man but my bedroom set will require two men. I am confused about the fuel. I pay a monthly charge for the storage place. I can get two men to put my storage in and you won't have to do it. Do you mean I pay for gas? If so, how much will it be for you to drive my storage to Humble, Tx? Question: We have a 8.5X20ft enclosed cargo trailer and can provide any additional packing. our crew can do the move for you for $1750, Fuel is included in the quote. on a side note U Haul charges .99c a mile for Friday-Saturday and .79c Sunday-Thursday + the cost of fuel + the rental. Question: NO, I can't. I'm a licensed and insured, Legal mover, and your the only load I have going there. Under these circumstances, I'm already working on a very tight budget. You need whomever is offering a quote to have in writing, on the contract. Final price, no other charges apply, or you may find they charge more at the other end, using one excuse or another, and won't release your goods until you pay them the extra. Question: "Per uShip rules, bids must be all inclusive." -uShip. If you rent as a business rent for one week it is unlimited miles at Penske. which for your house would be about 1700.00 one way. if you rent from the undependable, crappy trucks of Uhaul it is .79 cents for R/T and .99 cents for one way. there isn't a day vs wkend price. Budget prices are some where in between Penske & Uhaul. plus the daily fees insurance etc.. if you rent a Penske round trip business lease it can be as low as .18 to .22 cents per mile. but then you pay buy the day or week. about 675 for one week. Penske are dependable, always new trucks and a 16 ft Penske has more cargo room than a 17' U-Haul. Labor on a 1 bedroom already prepacked would be about 2 to 4 hours w/ no stairs to load truck. unloading most likely from a 16 fter would be 3 or less hours depending on customers preferance & placement on furniture. so if you do the math based on this it is probably cheaper to hire a full service crew. or a labor crew & (10/21/2006)
