Question: when did you want to move? (3/31/2008)

Response: Rob - I am looking to move my items around the last week of April, I don't mind if it takes over a week getting them there so I can be there to meet them.
(3/31/2008)

Response: i can do it for 2500..check my feedback..im reliable and trustworthy (4/15/2008)

Response: Rob - I'd say yes for $2300 just for this statement alone:
If God Blessed you with money dont try to make someone a slave.... Loved it!
$2500 is It's a little more than I really wanted to pay as I have sold off most of my large itinerary pieces on Craigs List, and was going to ask re-bids based on updating my inventory, I no longer have my barber's chair, the gym lockers, 2 couches (one of which was sectional) etc., etc.,
Let me know - your feedback is great!
BTW - you are okay with picking up at the end of the month right - as some people that were bidding told me they would pick up this week, and I haven't even finished my job yet, let alone pack!
C. (4/15/2008)

Response: i really would like to put the 2300 bid in..with gas prices and prices im not allowed to mention per uship rules..it was hard to say i would do it for 2500..i will see what i can do..one thing is im reliable and trustworthy.. (4/15/2008)

Response: I understand - we both have time, I'm not rushing into a decision lightly myself.. my quotes have seriously ranged from $1300-$5890!! Incredible! The Highest ($5890) being from FlatShipMovers.com! I would go with Pods for $3400 over that price.
Clare. (4/15/2008)

Response: actually..no matter if you choose me or someone else..your best bet is to choose a mover soon..cause things book up fast and prices go up..ive worked for major companies for over 17 years..i do it now myself and just some good advice would to find someone with good feedback..o if you find someone off this site..then try to get a flat rate..which is hard to do..most quotes you probably got are based on estimated weight or cubic volume..most cases you are always over the estimated weight which leads to higher price and then cubic volume is usually the same..so be honest with your inventory and see if you can get a flat rate without hidden fess..ayway take care (4/15/2008)

Response: That's why this site scares me alittle - as the highest quote WAS from a flat rate mover, that actually came to my house and assessed the inventory!
Clare (4/15/2008)

Response: clare..give me a list of everything youre moving as of right now..and then tell me the things youre trying to get rid of..and then i will put in a bid that will be are inclusive..i dont like having problems and having unhappy customers..i like to help people out even if im not the one moving them (4/15/2008)

Response: 1 x queen bed / queen mattress / queen box spring / 2 side tables / 1 chair* / 1 armoire / 2 large heavy tv's* / 2 x twin iron beds* / 1 x twin box spring* / 1 x twin mattress* / 1 x lrg oval dining table* / 1 lrg 6xdraw chest / 1 x leather ottoman / 2 x vaccum cleaners / 1 x ladder (small extendable) / 5 framed pictures / 1 x desktop tower / 1 x 19" plasma tv/computer monitor*, the rest will all be in boxes; possibly 5 large wardrobe size / 12 + smaller boxes / the rest is all in plastic storage containers 20 pieces approx various sizes.

(4/15/2008)

Response: i could do it for 2383..if it was accepted right now..so i could search for jobs coming back. (4/15/2008)

Response: Would you be able to come see the inventory anytime soon just so I know there won't be any additional fees. I pack right? You just load / unload?
I would want you to post the bid online (let's call it an even $2400) so I can accept it through the correct channels.
Clare. (4/15/2008)

Response: i couldnt accept the bid accept online anyway..its against uship rules to give out personal info without a bid being accepted..as long as your inventory is correct than the bid wont change..i will load and unload..the price i give is not for packing..gas prices how they are it would cost me 300 hundred in gas to come check your things out and come back home..unless i used my sons car..my truck gets 6mpg (4/15/2008)

Response: The inventory list is as close as I can see... I forgot a wooden trunk/chest in that (I am also hoping to sell this though also) and a coat rack.
I think there will be two large boxes full of kitchen items too (plates / toaster oven / glassware etc.,)
As you know moving is higher in stress levels than divorce - so please forgive my paranoia... I just really don't wanna be screwed on this decision. I am broke which is why I am returning to Ohio.. I can't afford any hidden fees.
Clare (4/15/2008)

Response: like i said..i dont have hidden fees..as long as the inventory is correct..and theres no stairs listed.. (4/15/2008)

Response: Oh! I do have stairs - but I will get help to get everything down from there..(dismantle bed etc.,) as I didn't even see this as an option!
I live in a 3 bedroom house - but as I only use 1 bedroom, it made sense to list it as a 1 bedroom!
Clare (4/16/2008)

Response: so you will have everything on one level if picked up..i need to know asap..and would you accept the bid right now cause i found another job, but i cant do either of you unless both accepts bid (4/16/2008)

Response: Yes and Yes, I will get everything on one floor for you Rob.
Clare (4/16/2008)

Response: ive been trying to contact the other person..thats the only thing hard about this is that people are not always online ...i can do your job..pickup somewhere at the end of april..but delivery could be anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks..cause i would have to find something coming back..so if that will be alright with you..let me know so i can put in the bid (4/16/2008)

Response: 3 weeks would be the max - that would be okay.. it will take me until around the 6/7th May to get home myself, then I plan on taking a week to find a place to live - so that's 14/15th, so I could be fine if it didn't all arrive until the 21st latest.
