Response: Hi. Don't think I'll be having any boxes. I listed an armoire that is on smaller size (with a mirror front). Unfortunately, the value is definitely in the sentimentality - quite old and very plain. I also have a display piece, did I call it a small size curio cabinet? Not very heavy or big but probably six feet tall (with one small door) and two 6 inch mirrors on front. It looks fragile so I wanted to get it crated. Is that possible? Also, 4 dining chairs and round occasional table that has some elephant tusks on legs- wouldn't want them snapped off! These items are in upper Manahattan apt and can be viewed from 4/4 if you want accurate bid. Thanks, Joan McMaken (3/25/2009)
Response: Hi Joan thank you for your response. Your curio is he only piece that I will devote special attention im terms of packing. The other pieces such as the chairs I will box since I have special boxes for chairs(2 in a box) the other items will be shrink and blanket wrapped on sight. My bid is below. Response: I'm in LV 89118 and the items are in NYC 10033. I was told by shipper I committed to to cancel today bec he couldn't do it! Don't know if USHIP will take me off listing? I have 1 small 5 1/2-6' tall armoire with mirrored single door, solid. I small curio cabinet, prob 6 ft tall, very lightweight, open, delicate. 4 DR armless chairs. One small side table, intricate legs- needs lots of wrapping. 2 ceramic busts, prob. 14" tall, will each need dish box?? Might have couple of very small boxes. Cleaning out a relative's apt. Response: With my way of doing things I really can't. I pickup and package for freight. Packaging price is based on size, freight is based on weight. To get you a price I would need a lot more information than you can probably get me. From the looks of things, I would be among your higher bids, but we show up when we are supposed to. (4/2/2009)
