Hopefully you can pick up on the 29th or the 1st, but if you have to pick up the 2nd, I need it to be somewhat early in the day. Just to put it all out there, it will be full service pickup for the items I mentioned (I will help, but I can't lift too much), plus dropping off a few boxes and mattress at a storage spot very near the final drop off location (once again, full service placing the items somewhere in the apartment). Response: Hello, I am looking for full service. I don't have that much stuff, but I have no way of lifting it myself. Both places (both pick up and drop off) are elevator buildings, with the unit very near the building. Also, I have a storage spot that I would like some of the stuff dropped off at that is about 5 miles away from the main drop off location. I was hoping to get my items picked up Feb. 19th or 20th and dropped off in early March if possible. Thanks. (2/13/2008)
Response: This sounds like a nice job, however we would need $1000.00 to complete the job as it would be time consuming with the stop at your storage,the tolls to get into NYC, and to send an extra man to help with the lifting. We would love to help you but we need to cover our cost as well. Your items would be picked up and transported in a custom enclosed trailer and full value insurance is always included with our rates. Response: Ok i have another question. Here is the full story and please let me know if this is possible. I will basically need people to lift and move all the heavy stuff. I also have a storage space in the city that is near the drop off location, where I would need some boxes and the mattress dropped off. Response: OK well I appreciate your honesty and being up front with everything that has to happen. I get a lot of surprises doing these jobs on uship, so thanks for being up front. I will still do it for 700.00 if if you are will to pay the deposit here on uship ( if you they will ask you for a choose to accept the bid, they will ask you for a deposit. Usually once you pay the deposit it come out of my 700.00, so I and up paying the deposit (66.30), so if your willing to accept the deposit and I will collect the 700.00 on delivery then this will cover the extra stop at the storage and we will load and unload ( help is welcome with what ever you can handle ). I hope this is something we can agree on and I would be there on Sunday. As you can see from my feedback I do good work and I'm sure you'll be happy. Look forward to meeting you and doing business with you. I have realized that there is no possible way I can make this move this Sunday. There is just too much to do before hand and I will be living in an empty apartment for almost two weeks. I need the pickup dates to be Either Feb. 29th, March 1st or early March 2nd. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I have about 15 boxes (sized small-large) instead of the orginal 6 or so I stated. I don't think that will change anything, but I just wanted to give you the heads up on that. Anyhow, the drop off dates are not very important, but the move out dates are.
