Additional Information: We are moving my mother across country from Columbia, SC to Seattle, WA. She is getting rid of most of her belongings so the big items are just a couple of cabinets, a bed, and a couple of small to medium size dressers. She currently lives in a very small one bedroom Apartment. There is the possibility of adding a small couch and chair from the living room but if the cost is prohibitive, we would just sell that before departure. Thanks for your time. Question: Hi John, this move can be done for a flat fee of $1,500 (9/28/2009)
Response: OK,I have a couple more questions before I make my final decision. So, you said you were flexible in the moving dates. The ideal time period for my mother would be in early to mid-November since her lease is up in November. You said you were flexible with dates...would this time period work for you? We also have some flexibility in the moving date. Also, I'm wondering about insurance. The listing for your outfit says full insurance and then additional insurance available...or something like that. However, I'm not exactly sure what it means, could you clarify your insurance policy? Finally, payment....I notice you have several options for payment, before, during, after...what is the specific payment policy and what is our guarantee we don't just give you the money and you disappear?! I'm sure you wouldn't do that but you know what I mean! What guarantees do we have for the shipment? The price seems very reasonable and I look forward to hearing from you.
