Average Cost Of Moving > 1 Bedroom Apartment

Response: I am moving to Florida and have used my friends address for this quote. I will be getting a place very close to her address. I will be going to Florida on the 30th to secure a place to live. If I can't find a place I will reserve storage space for my shipment. so I would not want delivery before the 6th of Dec. How does this work for you, would you be able to accomodate this type of move with a delayed delivery? Thank you for your prompt response. (10/26/2009)

Response: I am leaving for Fort Lauderdale Florida on Thanksgiving day will be in Melbourne on the following Monday to secure a place to live. I already have some irons in the fire. The address I gave is my friends in Melbourne the place I am looking at is about 13 minutes away from her. I have already decided if I can't get what I want I will have the items delivered to a storage facility. So either way the shipment will be accepted. As far as loading help my husband is 73 and unable to help and the washer and dryer are heavy and will need 2 people. So I could have pick up the early part of the Thanksgiving week(I can't do it later because I have so many things to get rid of and many appts that week) but could not accept delivery until 12/5,6 or 7. are you insured? Response: With a dolly you could probably do most but not the washer and dryer. They are only a year old and are the large capacity energy efficient, water saver models, you would definitely need help with those. Do you have a lift gate? Do I have to have the dressers empty? Or could we leave the clothes in the drawers full take them out and then put them back in when they are on the truck? I also have those vinyl 4 drawer rolling bins that are full can I just tape them shut or do I need to empty them? I really would prefer you had help I wouldn't want my items damaged. I don't know if you have a source that could help you load here and then hire someone when you got there? Do you think that is a possibility? (10/30/2009)

Response: as long as everything is shut in someway you can leave everything in them. if you had just one person who could help with washer and dryer that would be great. let me know i might be able to get this sooner also. (10/30/2009)
