Response: I will be there (25year old Female) and can help. Is 795$ your final offer? Thanks! Riddhi (3/8/2007)
Question: Yes, is the final price because I will have to hire loading/unloading help.Good Day. (3/8/2007)
Response: is there a phone number i can contact you at? (3/8/2007)
Question: I'm sorry, It will be a violation of Uship.com rules, if I give you my number before the Bid is accepted. Thank you. (3/8/2007)
Response: i understand. Just to make sure that you understand the amount of stuff I want to move. the big furniture I have to move is a full bed, a small chest of drawers and a small round dining table with 3 chairs. Apart from that I will have roughly 40 small boxes. I would like to leave my apartment in Iowa City on June 29th. Please let me know if this will be alright for you and if 750$ is your final offer. In iowa city, I can have some friends help you load stuff, but in Denton I dont know anyone so it will be just me to help. Thanks! Riddhi (3/9/2007)
Question: I will do your move for your target price of $700.00 + uship fee,,,I need to know dates ,,,I'm loading in Garland, Tx end of april,,,also home next few days loading for Los Angeles,,,also loading Omaha mid April,,,What is your need for load/del dates,,,Larrbo,,check profile and feedback,,,Thanks (3/9/2007)
Question: Hello, $725.00 with loading help. I can't promise Pickup in Iowa City on June 29th yet. Good day. (3/9/2007)
Response: When can you promise pick up in Iowa City? Sorry for so many questions! (3/9/2007)
Question: We have a truck traveling between Iowa and Denton, TX. about every 2 to 3 weeks. Pickup around 2 weeks possible, no date set yet. Or pickup in June if you prefer. Good day. (3/9/2007)
Question: You are renting a truck correct? We will be going back that way soon. We are going that way next week but I read your looking at June? Thanks (3/9/2007)
Response: I need a small trailer or truck and i would like to move last week of june. (3/9/2007)
Question: The date sounds good. Are you looking at me pulling a trailer? If so no problem. Also do you need help loading-unloading as well? Thanks (3/9/2007)
Response: Well--I dont have a trailer. so you would have to provide your truck/trailer. i do need help with loading and unloading (3/10/2007)
Question: I think I can do this for whre I clear $700 I bring a van and trailer I will be alone just the driver (me) and you. We both have to load it all and we can go as slow as we like I will not charge more if it takes longer in a day time I can get there at about 10 AM then we drive to Dallas then we unload is the first week of May DO ABLE? (3/10/2007)
Question: Could you move anytime before june? (3/12/2007)
Question: We are 2 teachers who do uship in summer. please check our feedback. At this point we can do this any time in June. Would have to finalize dates. We have 24ft trailer with strap system and over 4 dozen professional style packing blankets. We are proud to say no damaged shipment and 100percent feedback. Our rate is for this size is $1 per loaded mile, so basically 850. I know that is more than your target, but check our feedback. The trip will cost us nearly $500 in fuel and expenses, so we are banking that we get a return load. Hope to be of help. Please respond and we will place a formal bid. Thanks, tooldad (3/14/2007)
Response: Hi Jason, You do have excellent feedback. I am a graduate student who is going to TX for a year long internship. I was wondering if you will be willing to help me unload in Texas. I will have enough help loading over here in Iowa city. $850 is out of my budget, but if you can help me load and unload, I would be willing to negotiate. Thanks! (3/14/2007)
Question: Another question for you, would you be willing to move in early June. There is another TX move from Kansas City, that I could combine and make doable for you at $750 if I could coordinate both shipments at same time. Let me know how flexible in June you are. The only concern is my anniversary is first week of July and I need to be in St Louis or else, if you know what I mean. :) Tooldad (3/15/2007)
Response: Sorry i dont get possession of my apt in denton till July 1 (3/15/2007)
Question: Here is what I can offer. At this point it is too far out for our operation to dedicate ourselves to at this point. Just from doing shipment searches, I am sure we can find return loads. However at this time, everyone wants something shipped now. I wish more people planned ahead like you. Thank you for that preplanning. We will do it for $750 if we do your load. I will look again in May and June to find more shipments along your route. If you would like to request a bid in June I will place a formal bid then. I also understand if you accept one of your other offers so that you may plan ahead. However I am 95% sure we can make this happen for you. Hope you understand. Tooldad. (3/15/2007)
Response: Hey Tooldad, i would like to take your offer in May (i hope this works out). Another question for you--if I was to give you a little more money, would you be able to ship my car as well? Riddhi (3/18/2007)
Question: Would consider moving car also. Our trailer is only 24ft long with a 78" door opening. Most mid size and smaller cars will fit. However it is the length and weight that will concern me. Is the car driveable? Otherwise we have a car trailer that my partner could follow and haul it that way, but that is more fuel in the long run rather than driving it if it doesn't fit into the enclosed trailer. basically send me the make and model of car, and when more exactly you would like to move. Where would we be taking your things if you can't get into your apt until July 1 (I thought that is what you said). Sorry for all questions, but want to make sure we have all basis covered and no surprises for either one of us. Thanks, tooldad (3/18/2007)
Response: Hi, I have a 1992 toyota camry. I will have possession of my apt on July 1st and can meet you in Denton on that date as well, so that we can move it all in. I would like everything to arrive in Denton on either July 1 or July 2nd--whichever is convenient for you. Thanks! (3/18/2007)
Question: are there any sofas or recliners going on this trip. just trying to calculate the total amount of space needed in the trailer for both furniture and car. Tooldad (3/18/2007)
Response: No sofas or recliners. A full bed, 40 odd small boxes and a small dining table (round roughly a 1.5 foot in diameter), a small 4 drawer chest of drawers (very light bought from Walmart). If the car is going to be a problem, i can totally drive it to TX myself. (3/18/2007)
Question: I went ahead and placed a bid for the apt only. I am pretty sure the car will fit, I included the additional amount in the description if you wanted car hauled also. Look it over and let me know. Tooldad (3/18/2007)
Response: So having it in Denton on July 1 or 2 is okay for you? Also, if we stick to that timeline, when would you be in Iowa city to pick it up? thank you so much for your pateince and your answers. (3/18/2007)
Question: go to my bid you can ask more questions there. thanks. Tooldad (3/18/2007)
Question: I can have your load in Denton on July 1 if I haul the car also. It would be a full load and there would be no other stops along the way. We would load up then on Friday 6-29 and arrive on 7-1 to unload. let me kow. You may also click on my bid to ask specific questions from that. My bid is set to expire on Friday, let me know. Thanks, tooldad (3/21/2007)
Response: I think that would be awesome. And your bidis for $760. Thank you so much for this. I am going to accept it tonight. R. (3/21/2007)
Question: please note that in the bid, there is an additional charge to haul the car due to weight and space. If I haul just the apt, I will need to find another load going south. I hope I can haul the car for you to make a dedicated run. Thanks, tooldad (3/21/2007)
Response: Hi Tooldad, Being a poor graduate student, I cant afford $1250. If I decide to drive my car myself, you are not sure if you can do it--is that correct? R (3/21/2007)
Question: No problem on doing the job. Your apt is only half the trailer. I would be looking for another load going south along with yours, like maybe somebody bought something on ebay to makeup the difference. That is why I will start looking hard in May again. I have your trip saved in my searches and I check that route frequently even now. I would have to coordinate all the pickups and dropoffs. I would definitely pickup your apt that last week of June and deliver on July 1 or 2. Most likely still pickup on 6-29 and deliver on 7-1. If I don't find another load going south, we can work something out on the car. The 760 bid reserves half of my trailer for you to pickup on 6-29 or therabouts and delivery on 7-1 or 7-2. I put in my bid at 700, then uship adds 8% fee. That is where the 60.04 comes in. You pay that to uship, then the balance of 700 to us. Hopefully that makes it clear as mud. Thanks, tooldad (3/21/2007)
Response: So--just to make sure you will move my stuff. Then I will accept your bid and get this headache over:) I really appreciate all your emails. Thank you so much. (3/22/2007)
Question: Not a problem. If you accept bid, I will reserve 6- 28 or 6-29 for pickup in IA and 7-1 or 7-2 for delivery of your apt in TX. Tooldad (3/22/2007)
Response: Could you please place a bid again? Thanks! (3/25/2007)
