Additional Information: Hello,

I do not have a clear memory of the belongings in storage, as it's been one year since seeing them. The number of boxes as well as quanitiy of pre-set items listed above are as close to what I can remember as possible. more importantly, my storage unit is a standard 5 x 10 ft. unit with a very high ceiling. My belongings are not tightly packed in and they do not exceed more than about 8 or 9 feet in the back of the unit and then slope downward towards the front door. My things are in STORAGE with easy access to the unit. I would estimate the weight to not exceed 1500 pounds, 2000 pounds at the most, I think. THESE ITEMS ARE NOT AT A RESIDENTIAL LOCATION, BUT AT A SELF-STORAGE FACILITY.
Thank You.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello shipper i will be in CO between 6/6-6/10 for pick up and I can deliver with in 14-21 days for 1400 dollars. Please check out my profile, and feedback, and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks~Mike (5/21/2008)
Response: hello, Thank you for you bid of $1400. I have been without much internet over the past few days and had to make a couple of decisions about my items that need to be moved. IF you are still available to move my belongings, that would be great. First, though, I have a couple of questions. 1) If the $1400 bid an estimate based on square footage and the space estimate that I gave you or is it based on weighing the items after the truck is loaded? Also, is $1400 the exact amount, or are there some extra charges? At this point, based on your answers, the time frame that you outlined in your email to me sounds great. Just let me know about the questions I posed above. Thanks you. (5/28/2008)
Response: This is based on 2000 lbs at the most estimated by you. If it were to come in at 2300lbs. I would have no problem with that either. If it comes into 2500lbs or more I will be looking to charge extra. I would expect you to understand. I am a very reasonable person and I'm not out to rip off anyone as you can tell from my feedback. I do a great job for my customers for a very reasonable price. I believe we can make this happen for the original bid of 1400.00. Let me know. Thanks ~ Mike (5/28/2008)
Response: Hi mike, Your price outline sounds great. I am pretty confident that my items are not above 2000 lbs. In the event that my stuff weighs in at say, 1500 lbs...would there be a price adjustment there? Before my stuff was put into storage, I sold most of my big and heavy items (couch, washer/dryer, most furniture, etc). Your customer satisfaction record is stellar and sets you apart from the other guys out there, by far. I'm not trying to be cheap or anything, but am just trying the get my things back to Charleston as safely and economically as possible. IF the $1400 is set for the weight being significantly BELOW 2000 lbs, just let me know. At this point, I would like you to be the mover of my belongings though. Thanks for the information and I look forward to hopefully working with you! -Carol (5/29/2008)
Response: Hey Carol thanks for getting back to me. Like I said before I really don't go by the weight, However with the list of items I have here I'm trying to make this so you fill safe with the fact that you not going to spend more then 1400.00 UNLESS it goes way over 500LBs or more so I don't think I can go any lower then the 1400.00. especially with the price of fuel going higher and higher everyday. Thanks for the compliments and I also look forward to working with you. Thanks ~Mike (5/30/2008)
Response: Let's go with it then. I appreciate that you have a business to run and fuel costs are getting ridiculous. So, in the off chance, my items DO weigh in at 2500 lbs or thereabouts, how much more would you be in a position to charge. I would like to avoid the situation of having my stuff on a truck and halfway here with the news of $2500 or something like that. Just let me know. But pending nothing surprising or out of the ballpark, let's proceed with the delivery. There are 2 points I would like to let you know about related to the move: 1- I am not sure where the keys are for the storage unit. I think I have them somewhere, but would not want to send you the wrong set...are you in a position to cut the lock with a bolk cutter? 2- I have some instruments and one other item that would need to be handled extra carefully. I can advise you as to the specifics later on before the pick-up. Thanks and looking forward to working with you. -Carol (5/30/2008)
Response: Hi again Carol, No I would not do that to you. I am a very reasonable person and I can see from talking to you, you are as well. If it was more then what is represented and came in at 2500. you would be looking at another 250.00. I can discuss the lock situation with you once you accept. As far as the instrument, I will surly take care of it with extra care, as well as all of your belongings. I have 1 question as well my other shipment which was putting me there between the 6th and the 10th has postponed would sometime around the second to 3rd week of June still be OK ? Thanks again, Mike (5/31/2008)
Response: Thanks for the information. When you say you'll be "there between the 6th and 10th"...does that mean Breckenridge or Charleston. I'm assuming Breckenridge, but just let me know. There is no absolute date that I need my stuff, but, if it can be OUT of Breckenridge by the 18th, that would help me to avoid another month's charge at the storage facility. If that's not possible, that's okay. Just keep me posted with the dates that you're looking at picking up my stuff and dropping it off. I will need to put in for time off at work to have some time to receive my belongings if you arrive to town during the work week. Just let me know what information you need to proceed from here! Look forward to working with you and before you get to the location, I will give you specific information on the few items that need extra attention (from what I can remember...tje stuff's been in storage for almost 2 years!) THANKS Mike! -Carol (6/2/2008)
Response: Hi Carol, The shipment I was going to pick up between the 6th and the 10 had to change there pick up date for the following month of July, I will be able to do it doing that time or before, but I can not give a firm date at this time. Let me know If you would like to continue with this. Thanks ~ Mike (6/2/2008)
Response: I'm hoping that you are still able to move my things. I know July 1st is approaching, when your other customers were a pick-up date of July 1st. You mentioned in your previous email that you'd be able to pick up my things "during that time or before". You also said that you couldn't give a firm date at that time. I would like to continue with this shipment, but assume that you need the location of my storage facility, unit number, and delivery information. Since I've not heard back from you, I am questioning whether or not you're still able to deliver my belongings. If you can, please let me know in the next couple of days. My email to you from 4-5 days ago hasn't been answered and I'm only assuming that you got it, but maybe not. I'm trying to coordinate a few things on this end when it comes to delivery...time off from work, clearing space for my things, etc. Look forward to hearing from you. -Carol (6/24/2008)
Response: I'm sorry I haven't been able to plan this any better. I'm in Los Angeles, I will be heading up to San Francisco and then to Denver. I will be able to pick up on or about Friday or Saturday. I would need you to accept this bid so that we can move ahead with this. I'm on the road a lot and sometimes it's had to stop and e-mail. If you accept we can talk over the phone. Thanks ~ Mike (6/24/2008)
Response: Hey, Great news. I assumed you were not sitting at a computer looking at email very much, so I'm glad you got this most recent email. I went to click the "accept bid" button, and was prompted to pay the Uship fee. Somewhere along the line, I missed that little detail. If possible, I will complete that transaction tomorrow! Please, do go ahead and plan on the trip through Breckenridge and I will get all of the information to you once we talk on the phone. IF you want to talk in the meantime (today sometime), please don't hesitate contact me: [phone number removed] Thanks a lot. -Carol (6/24/2008)
