Additional Information: We are in a first floor apartment in Alexandria right now. Easy to get to, off of 395.

We are moving to Chicago to a large, apartment building. Our new building has a large freight elevator and loading dock as well as another elevator that we reserved for 3 hours.

We just moved to our current apartment last week - it's temporary until our Chicago place is ready.
Accordingly, our stuff is already packed.

Per the picture, we had an almost full 10' Uhaul truck while moving... but we did not pack it effectively! We will likely pick up a few IKEA boxes as well and we anticipate the IKEA boxes fitting into a similarly sized truck, with the help of skilled movers!

Additionally, we have several boxes in a storage unit to pick up. The unit is about 6 miles from the apartment.

Response: Ikea is 45 minutes away; we currently live 10 minutes from one and may not have a car in Chicago. The majority of our move is in our apartment, but there are boxes in a storage unit as well.5/21/2012
