Question: Hello, I am dropping off a Boat in Brick NJ, this weekend and am looking for a return haul. I have a 53’ bunk trailer that would accommodate your boat easily please see my profile pictures. I have no problem doing wet loading or launching… it would help to know the marinas that they coming from and are going to so I can be sure that there is enough room to maneuver my large trailer. I would be able to this for you next week as I will be in your area… If you are interested I can offer you a bid of $2300.00 PLEASE let me know ASAP and I will place a formal bid. Response: Boat will not be ready for pickup during your designated times. Also, for the offered price, it would be far cheaper for us to send our own guy with a dually up from Pompano to grab the boat, stay 2 nights at a hotel at 1oo bucks a night. Even with a hefty allowance for depreciation and fuel prices. (10/3/2009)

Question: Hi Shipper, in your calculations, don't forget over size permits for every state traveled in, along with NYC over size permits, and hefty tolls along the 95 corridor from NYC to MD trough MD because it is over size. Permits and tolls are over $500.00. DOT and Motor Carrier authority is also required. (10/3/2009)

Response: Hi Shipper, not a problem, just hate to see anybody burned by someone providing a COI and then transporting an oversize load without permits or DOT and Motor carrier authority, as the insurance is worthless when they are in violation of Local, State and Federal law. (10/13/2009)

Can load 10/9, please consider our qualifications as we are 1) a dedicated marine transporter; 2) clearly have DOT, MC# and cargo insurance as required by law to move this load, legally; 3) 60+ feedback and three years on UShip in good standing. Response: Hi James, Not to start on the wrong foot but here's the situation: We own 3 companies, [website URL removed] Last year, in the span of 8 1/2 months, we exported more than 1450 boats (ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY). We have a full fleet of duallys and pick ups, an exclusive shipping contract with one of the world's largest steam ship lines, and we are licensed and bonded by the FMC as an NVOCC (Non-Vessel-Operating Common Carrier). In other words this is not the first boat we need moved around as we have 15+ years experience in boats and shipping logistics. We have a guy in Baltimore who can pick up the boat, drop the arch, winterize it, wrap it, and deliver it with a cradle to the Port of Baltimore for a certain fee. If some one is dead-heading south from NY, for the right money, it would make sense to us to have the boat delivered here in FL for internal prep and we would then deliver it to our main hub in Brunswick, GA for export. Equipment: We have 50 trucks/200 trailers. Drivers: Our drivers meet all Federal DOT qualification standards and have extensive boat hauling experience.
