Small, midsize auto dealers benefiting from lower car shipping costs to improve out-of-area sales and inventory
AUSTIN, Texas – August 2, 2010 – In the current economic environment, many independent dealers must expand beyond their local markets to remain competitive. However, auto transport costs often make out-of-area acquiring and selling of inventory quite expensive. To address this dealer concern, online transport marketplace uShip has joined the NIADA National Member Benefits Program to save independent auto dealers thousands of dollars in shipping costs so they can compete with larger dealerships and online auto sales.
NIADA members now have customized access to finding specialized auto transporters on uShip, a web-based shipping marketplace where dealers list cars they need shipped and carriers compete to win business.
