Driver went to pick up item and would not transport the item without it being crated due to the value of the item. Driver did not want to be responsible for damages. I called the customer and stated that I would send in another driver. On 3/1/2007 I send a new BOL to the customer for proof of pickup arrangements. The customer now wants to cancel for our non pickup but the driver is on the way to pickup.

I had a loader down and needed the motor. What was I supposed to do? The motor was on a crate but wasn't enclosed, I told them I won't hold them responsible for any damage if they just bring it to me because I needed it ASAP. I had to send someone from my office to pick it up because of this mess, I needed my loader running. Had the guys work the weekend to get it in. Cost me $500.00 in overtime.
