The customer’s shipment was going 2900 miles from Manhattan NY to Sacramento CA It was delivered within 14 days. Manhattan does not allow 18 wheelers and the pick up was performed with a rental truck/shuttle, that was provided free of charge as a curtsey for the customer. The driver received a call from the customer after the rental truck was returned, so there was no way for us going back into Manhattan with a big truck to pick a metal frame that was overlooked.

We had a pretty good experience with the pickup, although the movers forgot at least one item in the hallway which we only recovered because someone else happened to notice it after the movers had left (they refused to come back to include the item in the shipment, telling me I'd have to drive it to them). The delivery, however, was about one week later than promised. I wrote to them and negotiated a discount, but they then refused to honor that on delivery. Items mostly intact.
