TNT Auto Transport and its predecessor can trace their beginning back to 1935 (over 73 years of continuity of management in the auto transport business). Dallas & Mavis Forwarding Company, established in 1935, began as a motor carrier specializing in the transportation of new vehicles from the manufacturer to the dealer.
Dallas & Mavis Forwarding Company established TNT Auto Transport as a wholly owned subsidiary in 1968.
TNT predates the modern concept of the employee relocation industry. It quickly recognized the growing market requirements to support customized vehicles and equipment as well as Fleet requirements for auctions, dealers, and remarketed vehicles.
