I needed to ship a couple of dressers from the west coast to the east coast. Service was not notably speedy, but the shipper knew from the outset that my timing was flexible. Workers were courteous and responsible. A good experience overall that I would repeat.

Item arrived damaged, shipper promised numerous times to refund the $50 cost to repair but no such luck. AMEX notified of seller's failure to refund. If not for this issue, uShip shipment transaction was smooth. Communication should have been better. Shipper should have resolved problem without having to get the credit card issuer involved.

Shipment arrived with no problems. Pick-up and Delivery occurred without a hitch, and right on time. Communication between dispatcher, driver, and personnel was fast and accurate.

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment.
Bid accepted on Jan 31; item was to be picked up on Feb 4; shipper did not call when he said he would and did not pick up the item. I left numerous phone messages that were not returned. Later that week I received a call from a different shipper, a subcontracter, I guess -- original shipper had not mentioned another shipper. Second shipper made partial arrangements to pick up the item and then stopped calling. Original shipper then re-appeared -- he said he'd had a family problem but that he
