Smartquote does what they say . Expect to give a credit card up front and have the card run before shipping takes place . As long as you know this everything is fine . This is not the norm in the U-ship business but this is the way Smartquote does business . The savings are worth the credit card being run up front . I will use Smartquote again on odd LTL freight in weird freight lane areas . His motor freight rates beat mine , abctowing29574@bellsouth.net , Keith

Picked up and delivered as scheduled. There was some damage to the flag pole when delivered. Very pleased with local pickup.
