John claims the dining table/chairs were stolen en route. He did not file a police report. He did not follow through on promises or meet deadlines. I am pursuing this matter as fraud through our local police department. Please consider using another shipper. At best John is a poor shipper and at worst he is a thief and a liar.

Had arranged to get picked up and delivered same day. Was agreed to pick up early am and delivery before lunch. Shipper agreed and didn't pick up here till after 2, and didn't delivery until the next work day. Shipper agreed to do this and knew it was time sensitive.

Response from skytransport: As stated IN LISTING. Shipper wanted this shipment p/u and delivered next day. This was done. also stated in the listing, PAYMENT WOULD BE MADE AT PICK UP. Driver waited around for payment afetr picking up load. shipper changed their minds and decided to have receiver pay for shipment. driver delivered next day,and was told that the shiper was responsible for the payment not the receiving end. Shipper was contacted and we were told that the payment was already made. We never received payment. sh

John did NOT take good care of my furniture during the move. 75% of everything was scratched, dinted, broken in some way. Shipper told me "I WOULD HAVE TAKEN BETTER CARE OF YOUR BELONGINGS HAD I KNOWN IT WAS VALUABLE TO YOU." Shipper offered to correct things but later LIED and did NOT complete his promise which was in writing. Over a month has gone by with no resolution & lies about how USHIP would be handling things. His story changed everytime I talked to him.I will be taking shipper to court

Response from skytransport: SHIPER WAS ADVISED TO PURCHASE INSURANCE ON BELONGINS, AND INFORMED THAT WE DO NOT OFFER INSURANCE.AT DELIVERY 1 BOX OF TOYS WAS BENT DUE TO STARPS AROUND THE LOAD. CUSTOMER OWED A BALANCE AT DELIVERY AND WAS DISCOUNTED 350.00. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER STATED THE TOYS WERE WORTH. IN DECEMBER WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM SHIPER STATING THAT HE WANTED 150.00 MORE FOR THE TOYS. HE REALIZED THAT HE HAD PAID MORE FOR THEM. WE SETTELED THIS WITH CUSTOMER UPON DELIVERY.

A few tense moments when I realized that John dropped off my gold cart but not the charger, but all was resolved after a phone call. Luckily, he hadn't gotten too far (it was still on the truck)! Overall, a positive experience.

Lack of consistent communications and expectations made the whole experience extremely frustrating...overall furniture arrived, but delayed about a week.

Response from skytransport: customer stated thet she was flexable on delivery, yet as soon as the furniture was p/u she demanded that it be delivered immidiately.
although we had other loads to p/u we altered our schedule and delivered customers furnitute first. we stated we do not accept checks , yet @ delivery customer had no other form of payment available. we did everything in our power to accomidate this customer, seemed like nothing worked.

Skytransport did a wonderful job. John the transporter was very friendly and dedicated to providing customer satisfaction. The last words he said, "I'll take good care of your bike," gave me comfort as he rode off. The shipment was delivered without a hitch. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone who has items to ship.
