About the Company: 505 Imports is a retail import furniture store in Lake Charles, LA. The furniture is imported from Indonesia and India, and is all solid hardwood: teak, mahogany, acacia, sheesham, mango, and mungor. Many of the pieces are extremely heavy; we have received furniture that is over $1000 pounds. Most of our shipping has been local deliveries in Texas and Louisiana, but we are beginning to expand our business. We have franchised our business and will be offering franchise opportunities to individuals in the Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi area. Soon we will be opening our online store and we are interested in shipping small pieces of furniture all over the United States. The pieces we are offering are not huge or extremely heavy (30-60 lbs), but we are looking for the best (cheapest and safest) way to ship them.
