I restore vintage motorcycles out of my residential garage in southern Minnesota. I buy bikes from all over the United States and Canada. Some of the bikes I have bought were almost "race ready" that were shipped upright with tie-downs in enclosed trailers and some have been in such bad condition that the best way to move them was just to throw them in the back of a pick up truck uncovered. Most of the shipments I need help with are not time sensitive which allows a transportation firm to hold onto the bike until another load is combined with mine to make the trip more profitable.
