OUR BID CATAGORY WAS "NOT" ENCLOSED SHIPPING! ASSUMING AND MISCOMUNICATION ARE NOT THE SAME THING.TRAILER WAS HOMEMADE.A TIRE BLEW OUT WITHIN 10m.THE TIRES AND BEARINGS HAD NOT BEEN CHECKED AS STATED BY THE DEALER.BEARINGS WERE BAD AND NOT SERVICABLE.3HRS LABOR FOR TIRE AND TEARDOWN.5 EXTRA HRS INTO KEEPING THE BEARINGS SERVICED SO IT WOULD LAST THE TRIP.PORTLAND TO SOUTHEAST TEXAS(2607m)IN 45 HRS.WE DID NOT CHARGE FOR LABOR,BUT WANTED COST OF THE TIRE,GREASE,AND OIL.HE REFUSED TO PAY FOR THEM!

This was a classic case of miscommunication,i thought the boat was going to be shipped inside a long van and in reality it was towed behind a pickup for close to 2,400 miles.I would recommend that you get it in writing/e-mail how you want your item shipped and if the provider is willing or able to do that.Hualing a boat on it's own trailer in an unknown condition is not advisable.Dave did have some probloms with the trailer but did all he could to get it to me in good condition.
