Iron Horse Expeditors is licensed with Will County Illinois. Ryder Truck is a leasing company for truckers who are in business to lease out their vehicles to transporting company's in order to do business. (This is a no brainer). Ryder trucks have USDOT numbers which we provided to customer that traces back to Ryder ( who's trucks we lease) So there is nothing fake or fraudulant about this. The customer agreed to allow Iron Horse to ship his items and should have asked questions before accepting

Rating: Cancellation Left for: Jrecords50 (179 ) On: 7/28/2008 For: 2 bedroom's worth of stuff + Appliances + Garage	After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this Service Provider Service provider's USDOT number did not match their business name, but instead was listed under "Ryder Truck Rental." Per UShip's own suggestions, all interstate movers are required to be directly licensed with the USDOT. Therefore, I was not comfortable proceeding with this Service Provider. I alread requested a cancellation on Sunday (7/20) night via this same online form. I am not sure why it was not processed, but I am submitting it again here. Response from Jrecords50: HI SIR, AND SORRY YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT WE LEASE TRUCKS DURRING STATE TO STATE TRANSPORT. OUR REASON BEHIND THIS IS IN CASE OF A BREAK-DOWN THE LEASING COMPANY WILL FURNISH ANOTHER TRUCK RIGHT AWAY. THIS IS TO SECURE THAT YOUR ITEMS OR ANY OF OUR OTHER CUSTOMERS ITEMS WILL NOT BE ABANDONED WHILE ON THE ROAD. THE USDOT NUMBER WE PROVIDED YOU WITH MATCHED UP TO THE LEASING COMPANY. (WE ARE SAD TO SEE YOU JUST CANNOT UNDERSTAND THIS). ONCE YOU FIGURE OUT THE SYSTEM FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US.
Rating: Positive Left for: KevinGRyba (32 ) On: 4/13/2008 For: 2004 Ford Ranger	I was a bit nervous about giving a $15k vehicle to a "stranger" - but felt better after meeting Kevin. He seemed nice and was professional about addressing my concerns. Before I chose him, I checked out his business registration with his home state (OH). I also got a copy of his drvr lic. when he arrived. My truck arrived in FL in fine shape, although was a bit later than we originally discussed. Once on the road, he was available by cell. Overall it was smooth and I would use him again.
