I am unable to reach this Service Provider after a reasonable time period.
After repeated attempts to contact shipper by telephone, email, mail and fax and not receiving any reply I had my horse transported by another company.

Matt is a super nice guy who was very good to the horses and made sure they were well taken care of. Communication was our only problem. Whether he was out of cell phone range or what the deal was, he disappeared for a big chunk of time on two separate occasions. Ultimately the time when he had our horses it turned out he pulled over to get some sleep. That would have been great with both myself and the person receiving the horses if he had just let us know beforehand.

Frustrating experience. He was to not get horse off trailer since he was an untouched 2 yr old and he did, injured the horses knee; My vet checked, its new. This was a racehorse. Horse was picked up on 2/28/08; not delivered til 2am 3/11/08. Trip supposed to be only 5-7 days. 1st he lost a cell phone; his office never called to inform, then weather. My friend on same route made it home 5 days before him? Didn't follow route I was told. Nice person all in all, but no way responsible.

Response from precisionequineservices: In stall drugged at arrival.Pickup contact heavy sedated 2nd time 2 lead&load on trailer. 2yr old Never handled, owner unrealistically expectd 2 trailer CA to PA perfectly, w/out incident.Drugs wore off, horse severely panicked in trailer, fortunately causing only minor, self-inflicted knee injury. Per owner’s request, horse trained daily on handling, leading,load/unload (extending the trip),so not handful of her own after delivery. Called daily, left messgs, she never answered b/c attending2newbaby.

Matt delivered Maddie in good condition, she was well cared for even though the trip took longer then expected. We have all had to start somewhere in life and We feel that with experience Matt will continue to learn and improve where he needs to. Most horses are precious cargo to thier owners and owners need to be kept informed. The important thing was seeing that Maddie was well cared for and arrived safely.

Matt was very nice, and I felt like he did try to take good care of my horse. But she lost a lot of weight on the trip, and was about 100 lbs. underweight after a week on the road. Apparently there was some bad weather and mechanical problems. but he was not clear in his explanations, so I felt a little uneasy. Friday night I was told she would be delivered early Sunday, then didn't hear a thing until Monday morning. I was quite anxious and worried for a couple of days, not a good feeling.

Response from precisionequineservices: Horses cannot possibly lose 100 lbs after (or during) only 5 days on the road. Pick-up contact and manager at boarding facility shared concerns that this horse has been experiencing on-going, significant weight loss due to not having teeth floated. Regarding communication, we asked shipper (kstevens) if she had been checking her voice messages…she checked, and she then acknowledged that we did in fact try to contact her a number of times each day and left voice messages each time. Thank you.

They gave me the best price on my shipment. The quote was way lower than all the other bidders. They also know a lot about handling horses, & they take their time to do it right. However this also means that your shipment might not be picked up or delivered on the guaranteed time frame. The communication was sparse leaving me uneasy feeling, but it all worked out in the end. Overall experience was good and I would use them again, with my precious cargo.

Response from precisionequineservices: Melissa ~ we enjoyed transporting your 4 horses cross-country from Florida to Oregon. All four horses were good travelers. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family. Also available as a professional reference.

I had Precision Equine Services pick-up my Lipizzan Versano in Iowa, due to the fact that they were transporting 2 horses in bad shape I suggested they have them checked by a veternarian. Matthew is extremely good at transporting and takes his time so that the horses are safe and well cared for. They loaded Versano and proceeded to California on the day he was loaded there was at least 2" of frozen ground to walk him to the trailer. On the way out it took them 19 hours to cross Wyoming becaus
