Rating: Cancellation Left for: jdempere (109 ) On: 10/16/2008 For: 2006 Harley-Davidson FLHTCI Electra Glide Classic	The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment The lady showed up with a empty moving van with no way to tie a motorcycle down properly other than some rope she had with her. Other than a bumper down each side of the van, approximatley 24 inches high, there was no way to properly secure the motorcycle to ensure it would not fall down or move forward and backwards. It became obvious that there was no way to prevent the motorcycle from being damaged in the transportation to Denver. Response from jdempere: Shipper was aware of the type of truck I use from my bid & profile. He said that his bike suffered $1500 damage when moved inside a truck & a strap came loose. Why did he accept my bid then? I don't use straps for that reason. He does not seem to care that I drove 200 miles to pick it up. He has not offered to help with the fuel cost.

TOOK TIME TO MAKE SURE THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TIED DOWN PROPERLY. WILL USE AGAIN. THANKS Response from Hammer44h: Tying them down is easy, first, there's only one way to do it, and that's the right way, and second, redundancy and back ups....I mean, why not?
