Provider e-mailed me at 3pm the day before pick-up said other people on route cancelled so she could no longer do Tues. Maybe later in week. Provider did not get back in touch. Found out in an e-mail that she was refunding my deposit.

This was a very able shipper who was patient and knowlegeable around horses. Good communication and horse said to arrive in good condition, despite long trip/overnight stay. Thamks again. Would use for next shipping trip.

The communication between shipper and us was a problem. It would be nice to use the phone more with the driver, not the person at home. The delivery sounded like a nightmare. The pony left here at 11 and arrived at 12 am!! What took 13 hrs?? And then they had to meet and unload the pony and reload. I would never have scheduled this if I had known.

Response from msfarab: We were in communication with the person who hired us during the trip (by phone from the road). We had horses on to be delivered that could not leave their own state, and told the people this. Those had to be delivered, and there is a requirement for REST after a full day. Everyone seems to think the clock starts when their horse is picked up, thinking we drive 24 hours a day. The horse was well cared for and in good shape. This was not unusual or extended as is being reported. Sorry folks.
