We are a full service, nationwide piano mover. We have been moving pianos since 1935 and are the largest piano mover in the country. We do not use other companies to move your piano - all crews are our employees and are piano moving specialists. Modern Piano (MP) did not inform me when they picked up the harpsichord but after that communication was good. The two guys who delivered the harpsichord were obviously tired and they let it fall pretty roughly as they worked their way into my apartment so not surprisingly the keyboard was way out of adjustment. Fortunately, that was an easy fix. Overall, my experience was good.

Modernpiano shipped my piano from Valley Forge, PA to Spokane, WA. The piano is a 1905 Baldwin Upright Concert which had been fully restored. They were very professional, knew exactly what they were doing, and delivered the piano in perfect condition. I was also impressed that they use only climate controlled trucks. Not so much for the piano works, but for the finish. In a hot semi the padding will stick to the finish. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Piano was picked up 6/28/11. (original estimation was 6/24-6/30). Delivery (Kansas City) was to be within 15 days of pick-up (Seattle). Delivery happened to fall around the 4th of July Holiday and the destination contacts vacation 7/8-12th causing a slight delay due to the scheduleing conflict. Destination contact was also unavailable between 7/19-08/2/11. Piano was delivered on 8/2 and arrived in excellent condition. Sad to hear of a neutral experience given circumstances of both parties
