I am an independent farmer in the Mankato, MN, area. My main crop is hay, which I grow to feed to my cattle and sell to dairy and horse farmers. I have two trailers which I use to haul my hay out of the field and to customers. I am looking to keep the trailers moving during the winter to spread out my expenses. I have a 30-foot flatbed gooseneck trailer which can haul up to 20,000 pounds and an 18-foot bumper hitch trailer which can haul up to 10,000 pounds, as well as a 20-foot livestock trailer. I am fully insured and have a commercial drivers license in Minnesota. I have been driving truck for a refrigerated distribution company in the area for 10 years. I am currently driving part-time for them with the hope of quitting entirely in the near future. My wife and I have two kids, ages 1 and 5.
