Mathews Transport Inc is a family owned and operated Hot Shot or medium duty trucking company just north of Houston, in Spring Texas. Our fleet consists of a 52 foot step deck with hydraulic dove tail and air ride suspension, (2) 40 foot goose neck trailers with air ride suspension. a 49 foot step deck with 16 foot ramps, air ride suspension and a 30 foot goose neck trailer. Goose necks with 20,000# capabiliities and 8 foot ramps. Step decks up t0 25,000# load capability. Every truck has apportioned plates to travel in all of the lower 48 states and DOT compliant sleepers to increase driver comfort and trucking efficiency. Larger Peterbuilt on order to be added to the fleet this winter to expand or weight range and capabilities. Fully licensed and insured trucking company with responsive and courtious drivers. They don't come any better! This shipper was on time, his equipment in excellent condition. He set up a way for me to pay by credit card, even though he formerly only took cash payment. We had constant and immediate communication about the shipment, payments, etc. And both driver, Ed, and owner, Marcus, are friendly, helpful, and make you feel like you are "family", not just some account. In my opinion this carrier couldn't have done more to satisfy us. Very patient and helpful in working with shipper (headquarters one state, pickup another, and all the problems between). Courteous driver, pickup and deliver on date they committed to; what more could we ask. Would definitely use them again.

Windshield on bike blew off in transit...one of the hazards of shipping via open trailer....and not Marcus' fault. He adjusted the price accordingly when he really didn't have to. His driver was punctual and his equipment was in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to use Marcus again. Overall, a satisfactory experience. Thanks!

Although subsequent purchases were cleared since, this purchase was never verified through the government, and has since been cancelled by the auctioning company (govliquidation). Marcus was great to deal with and always prompt with communications. I look forward to doing business with him in the future.

Four wheel drive transmission blew up on the truck on this route causing catastrophic vehicle failure. Truck and trailer towed back home. Thousands of dollars later this truck is back in service, but unfortunately I was unable to accomadate this customer.
