I'm a postgrad poet trying to get that first book out while paying off my MFA. I've moved literally hundreds of folks into, out of, and around NYC. I will move anyone anywhere in my hightop van, and can add a trailer for larger long distance moves. Rates are $50/HR within NYC, labor of one man and transportation included with only a one-hour minimum. For two men, the five-borough rate is $70/HR with a two-hour minimum. Anything beyond Nassau County to the east, near NNJ to the west, and Westchester County to the north is based on a flat rate, while the above-mentioned close-in out-of-city areas incur a one-time $20 out-of-city service charge.
