We have owned and raised horses and ponies for 25 years. I have made numerous cross-country trips hauling horses and livestock. My husband and I are making a trip from Northern CA to Houston Tx on March 1, 2008 and we will be returning on March 15, 2008. I was looking to see if I could help anyone out by providing transportation at a low cost. It would also help us out with our expenses, since we are traveling with our horse trailer anyway. I am returning from Houston with some Pygora goats for my ranch. I am a very careful hauler and can stop at horse motels. I always put the safety and confort of the animals first and foremost, I will treat them as if they were my own. I haul with a 2002 Ford F250 my 6 horse aluminum goseneck trailer. The trailer has seperated slant load dividers for 3 horses and the rear is an open box size of 11 ft by 7 ft and the trailer is 6ft 6 inches tall. I am not a commercial shipper.
