I'm just a working class dive guy who sold his zodiac style rubber boat two months ago. I'm ready for a "real" boat. Hence the 18' Dauntless. Little did I know, these boats are not on the west coast. Oh, there's a new one in Oakland(ouch) and an older one in Washington (no way, I'm not settling!) but that's it! So, I'm buying one in Buffalo. Heck with it. I've waited long enough. The ocean in northern Ca only lets you play in it for so long, and I really haven't been that wet this year. So now I'll need to ship it. The quick quotes the boat sites weren't even close to the real cost of shipping. I'm sorry, I had no idea. I need to find someone to take care of my 2001 Whaler and its trailer during the shipping process. A enclosed trailer would be perfect. But if we need to have the dealer shrinkwrap it because it'll be on your open trailer, so be it. You won't find easier guy to work with either.
