The service provider needs to improve his communication. Once I did choose him, it was hard to get a hold of him.One day before pickup, his driver had no idea where to exactly pickup the boat and where to bring it. I had to give him this data even if the service provider had it since a week. The driver himself was really helpful and did a great job . Unfortunately his truck broke down (that can happen to everybody)100 miles before the destination so I had to go get the boat and trailer by myse

Jim and his crew were very flexible and accomodating. We were relocating at the time and he arranged for pick-up early so we didn't have to worry about this part of the move, stored the boat for us and brought it to us in perfect condition when we were ready. All nice guys and easy to work with. If I need this kind of service again Jim will get the call.

Problems on both sides, all's well that end's well. Communication definitely needs improvement. I would use again with conditions.

Problems on both side were his. Boat was to be 10' wide I drove all the way to Michigan to find out it was 11' 6" wide. It was a Friday afternoon and not enough time to order permits for the move till Monday. So, I had to make an extra trip and more permits. I get to the drop off and it was to either be taken off by lift or in the water. No keys, no lift....had to be taken off by hand. As for communication the first time I talked to him he was to E-mail the new drop off and I am still waiting.

Jim is a great guy - good communication and very helpful. The driver was wonderful - letting us know progess as he came across country, and replacing a wheel bearing that blew out early on. He stayed and tried to help us get the boat in the water, and then towed it again to another spot when it would not run. Two thumbs up to Jim and his crew!

The boat actually weights 18000 to far stretch for me. The owner Dave was just going by what he was told by the marina. His boat is actually 18000 and only 13' wide. It's not his fault as he was told 13'6" wide and 8000 lbs. This is what happens when people just tell others what they think it is and not measure.
