Response from hickoryhillstransport: This lady would not put the care of her animals first. So we told her to find a different shipper.

George was over a week late picking up the horse, but seemed capable enough. After that, it only got worse. It took several calls to contact them to find out where our horse was. A "4 day" layover in Oklahoma turned into 4 weeks. Then, the worst of it was that , although he was healthy and in perfect condition when he left, he was sick and had sores all over his body and had lost a great amount of weight by the time he arrived. He was greatly neglected in their care (if you could call it care).

hickory hills transport picked my horse up a week late, and then once they had him it was another 12 days before i recieved my horse. i was told it would only take between 3-4 days for my horse to arrive. they never called to let me know that there had been delays or problems. i always had to call them and as they do not have an answering machine it was practically impossible to reach them. Evelyn was not very pleasant to deal with and tried her best to give me as little information as possible.

Response from hickoryhillstransport: ALL the horses on the load are important and their safety comes first. Weather is something I can not predict. You yourself sat in a snow storm for 18 hours. Cell phone service is not always good. We enjoyed your horse. and am glad he arrived as promised safe and well rested. Thank You

George and his wife were great! There were many delays, of no fault of theirs, but they continued to remain friendly and pleasant! My Boyz have never traveled this far (WA to NY) and I was a nervous wreck, but they took very good care of my boys. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services! Thanks Hickory Hills Transport! Debi Cuyle, Lansing, NY

Hickory Hills is my shipper of choice! George takes great care of my horses and I have recommended him to my friends and colleagues, they have shipped their horses with him, and they say the same thing. No one ships my horses any more except George, he is very good with them and he is conscientious almost to a fault.
